Chinese night

Special curry egg fried rice sweet and sour trio pancake rolls and prawn crackers...... swilled down with half a gallon of wife beater :D

Anyone else have a friday tradition....... mine stems back to when I was a kid with a variant on that above menu after a bath into my Hulk pajamas and then Starskey and hutch Hill street blues and finish of with Louie Depalma in his cage... a top night and no mistake :D 8)

Friday night when I was a kid was a chance to talk to my dad...Didn't see him much as he did shifts down the pit....Dinner was bacon, boiled spuds and broad beans with bacon fat tipped over....

Friday night in late teens was out at 7....pissed by 10....onto a club....with a burger and chips on the way home in a taxi.....

Friday night in my 20's was spent saving money for the mortgage, sharing a can of lager with Benny, and a steak and kidney pie.....

Friday night in my 30s was spent bathing kids, changing nappies, washing bibs, and breast feeding......no time to eat....

Friday night in my 40s is ' I'm knackered and I have a headache...sort your own dinner.....'.....

Very good Nutster. Very amusing.

Me, I'm unpredictable - it always changes.

Tonight it was mussels in garlic cream sauce, half a bottle of wine, creme caramel and now I'm on the coffee.

Some gourmet cooking happens on a Friday doesn't it...?

Does anyone under the age of 60 still pour bacon fat on spuds?

Did Frank Sinatra sing that?

Sunrise, Sunset old pal, would you swap it for a no repercussion ounce of fuck you, or a litre of it's mine, I doubt it.

Six strongbows, a few vodka red bulls, some cheap shots, a slap off a bird for saying something out of order in a desperate bid for her hand in marriage, a taxi home to bushbury hill, five minutes sprint from the driver when you realise your skint, jumping the gate to get in, throwing bricks at my sisters window for her to open the back door, coming in slashed and making beans on toast, then of course waking up covered in them the next morning!

Have to say my childhood sounds like it was Idilic and looking at some of the other friday nights has put me not on a downer but made me realise just what being "WORKING CLASS" used to be all about with the old man grafting his bollocks of and having little time for the kids and it was just a "given" that it was like this

Can we have some upbeat Fridays now please

Nutty you need to come round ours one Friday for the Oriental imbibing session
