I'm lagging behind because I stopped visiting for a while, Doc Trottle told me I posted too much in the early days.

Saw him and Smiffy off though.

Whatever happened to JACK and Stratford? Enjoyed their posts.

I've already got two lives. 8)

To be fair, there have been others who have had a greater post/day rate than me but I've got stamina and have kept my rate up over a much longer period. Trouble is, I'm getting a bit older now.

I have the honour of making the ''fust'' post on this forum back in 2004, but don't forget the forerunners to this platform and the back-up site that are 99% after the infamous OS.

I only had one other log in and that was Dyslexic Wilf and I had some fun writing ''his'' posts. I think Stokie had the most aliases - one was even a Smithy of Tipton and sometimes it was difficult to know who the real one was. Doc. Throttle had numerous nicknames too.

Wendy Wolf is still around, sent me a PM a year or so ago. Don't know what happened to the ''Reverend'' Doctor Tesco Bag, who is a real Reverend, does a lot of charity work in Africa and a very keen fisherman to boot.

Don't know why Yeander left, but I have left myself for a year or so and then returned.

Still wondering what happened to some prolific posters that just disappeared without a love you and leave you, but I guess that is Forums.

I didn't have the pleasure of sparring with him on here but I understand that he is the very same person who is now the chaplain radio presenter and blogger for The New Saints FC who top the Welsh league by a long way.

It's bin a journey ay it, It has come so far around that I now understand why the Mods I criticised once for not Modding anything, would now be wholly redundant, because the Mods that want to Mod things ay got nothing to Mod, even though the Mods who are supposed to Mod stuff rarely visit the site to remark upon the stuff that doe need Modding.

The Mod salary of £12,000 per year needs to be Modded.

£12k. Yo've bin add Mate, I was on £25k per annum with an expense account.

@LeftBack. Tesco Bag was one of OURS and was also the Wolverhampton Dentist. As far as I recall, he was a bit of a lad back in the day and before he saw the Light. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Mol on a trip back from Moscow that Doc Throstle organised and we got the free tour around the Trophy room, changing rooms and I got to do a Dave Jones leaning up against the Dug Out.

I believe that the Original MODS was myself, Stokie, Wendy, (Northants Wolf or Northampton Wolf, but he might have used a different nick back then), and I think it was Brownhills and Moli (but I might well be wrong).

There were some characters back then, that only came on to cause a fight and often did ending up with threats of personal violence against MODS which we would let Stokie sort out. We had suspected cases of what they now call ''Grooming'' of a younger female member that we had to try and warn about, threats of libel and quite often clashes of opinion where folk didn't hold back.

We had a lot of female members too that actively posted.

How things change over the years, but I prefer the more sedate Wolf nowadays than the one we started out with.

And I thought Dr Tesco bag was a baggie. Thanks for putting me right.

It's nice to mod with our feet up nowadays but a bit of that adrenalin fuelled stuff would wake us up from time to time. I'm all for the increased pay deal anyway.

To tell a little tale Bob, do you remember liquidsword?, he beat KK one year to the most knowledgeable title, when we had such nonsense, anyroad, I was at a family gathering once and my nephew disclosed to me that he was in fact Mr Sword, after the initial incredulous bouts of fuck off, it was in fact true, the little bastardo had kept it Q for years, he was a blinding poster too!

I think that someone got so excited by the thread that they forgot which login they were as there is a Rostbif and a Rozza posting in that thread! There was another bloke that used to have an avatar with a Copper's Helmet with a flashing blue light in the top! Anything to do with you I wonder.

Alex Rae's Hair, what a nickname, where do they think them up! Nearly as good as Brian Law's Bus Ride.

I wonder what happened to WANDY and ASTI from Wallheath.

Yes, I do recall Mr. Sword and it was a sharp blade too so must've been in the Rozza family tradition.

On a similar note there was a wind-up merchant on here (amongst many) that called himself a Bolton fan (I forget the exact nickname now), but he caused havoc when Bolton beat us and as a MOD trying to keep the peace, I was deleting his posts as soon as he posted them. Turned out to have been Wendy's Brother In Law that lived across the road from her in Essex. - Barsteward.

When I joined this Forum, there was a lot of sniping about it being cliquey, and no fucking wonder, I mean, how many polars does Rozza need?
