I also keep hearing about our supposed interest in Pizzi?

I think Giroud would ask Nuno for to many concessions. But he would be the smart pick alongside Rondon whose buy out fee might tempt Wolves.

Do Wolves really want to fund Albion's summer strengthening by buying their only PL-ready asset?

I would say there is more chance the Albion owner will sell every possible asset possible and rebuild with no marks.

Question mark over Kevin Thelwell for giving him contracts up to his current age of 27.

The club will have lost not gained due to poor judgment of his abilities.

Blimey, and he wasn't even in your list of 26 to leave in May 2017.

Well yeah I didn't want to slag the lad off! It was obvious from the start he wouldn't make it with us, I'd say League 1 is his ceiling at best, and it was odd how we kept him around for so long but there's no ill will towards him from me

Jeff Shi is all about cost.

Profit and Loss.

He will study those who work at Wolves and be looking at their decision making on those terms.

I doubt that. If he's worked his way so far up within the Fosun organisation he won't be a mere balance sheet studier like Moxey.

A multinational investment group is about creating synergies between its interests that increase the value of the brand overall, not that every last piece of expenditure leads to a profit.

Rondon and Wolves haggling over salary. He wants more than we think he’s worth but Nuno wants him.

Big fan of Rondon, impressive if we pick him up as I would have thought a few would be in for him.

There will be that's why his agent will not commit to early offers and drag all negotiations through the summer.

The additional element with Rondon is that Newcastle are keen on him so if their new billionaire owner comes in, he could be looking at a bumper offer from the north east.

Benteke is probably older than claimed, peaked at Villa and has been on the decline since.

Newcastle linked to Seb Haller at around 35 million, a player who would be a fine Premier league performer.

Mendez is supposed to be heavily involved in Mexican football.

Sounds like a great signing, heir to Rafa Marquez, possible upgrade on Saiss.

The cynic in me thinks Jorge Mendes owes Club America a huge favour and this deal enables money to be moved into other causes.
He would have been involved in inserted the new buy out clause into the players two week old contract.

Nuno believes in natural evolution, the club has moved beyond the talents of such players.

Hause to Villa is ok for us
We have moved on from that kind of player, and we need to cut out "loan" squad.

As for Villa..signing current players on loan and average championship players means a season near the bottom of the premier league.

If the bookies offered you a free thousand pound bet on Villa 39 points next season, higher or lower.

Which way would you bet?
