A football topic to cheer us all up, the feelings and memories of that fabulous day back in 2003 are still with me and will never die. Cardiff, Millennium Stadium, Play Off Winners, May 26th 2003.

Good memories. When Wolve scored the third I think it was the loudest cheer I can remember.

The strange thing for me and looking back now as very funny, was thousands of Wolves fans (myself included I may add)... flocking to the bars at HT for a drink to calm nerves and or celebrate being three goals up......and the bars were CLOSED..Arghh..!!! So many fans in disbelief and some saying: "We'll fuck this up and lose 4-3..."..No chance whatsoever, it was job done in 45 minutes ...Colin Wanker twatted big time..

I remember looking at the clock on 88 minutes with eyes full of tears actually saying to my mate "I think we might do this"

That's about when I started to believe too. It's amazing how years of let downs affect the mind.

I did my usual for important games, and decamped to Macau. Drown my sorrows if we lost, become friendly with a young lady from somewhere exotic that I didn't know very well with the win. Happy days.

I actually knew we would win when Matt Murray saved that penalty early on the second half, that told me it is our day....even a doubter like me at times felt that for once, the hand of fate was on our side...

Watching on TV at a pal’s house I was stunned into silence - summat most unusual for me.

17 years ago

It was a perfect weekend, stopped in Bristol the night before and got drunk. Next morning at breakfast the Sheff Utd fans were giving it large, and we were never charged for our FEB! As for the game, I knew we were safe once they brought on Proudlock
