Bring in support and backup for Leo.
Sometimes the defence looks a bit hows ya mother and that will possibly need to be addressed.
Still think we need someone solid who can backup our midfield and be a real midfield defensive enforcer against the thug sides.

IF we get promoted Mate then, expect the calibre of players such as Ronaldo, Bale etc. to be on the radar and linked to us.

I would have thought they would consider David Luiz for next season.

João Carvalho of Benfica linked to Wolves.

He does fit the profile of tremendously gifted young player who requires an opportunity to play.

High quality potential.

True enough.

I hope both of them gain loan deals to Portuguese clubs in January to learn the technical fine arts of the game, a good academic finishing school.

What the Portuguese learn from our school, there are other requirements to be learnt in another.

I hope that can happen, would help them grow as young men too, maybe learn some of the lingo as well.

We had a first last week against Brazil, the England captain conducting television, radio and newspaper interviews in the away teams language.

Nothing lost in translation and a good reflection on English football within Brazil.

Is there any player currently playing in the Championship who you would target in the January transfer window?

It seems we need "home grown players" to satisfy the league requirements especially as Doc doesn't count.

Weimann for the 1 mil plus fee we had agreed would have been a good signing for that.

Doubt we could sign a Prem quality striker so maybe look for a loan, surprised Bright hasn't got more starts anyway with Bonatini looking very jaded.

Yes, good shout, underrated player.

Any thoughts on Bobby Reid at Bristol City?

It's a difficult one as I can't see many fitting in to our style of play, I'd take Ryan Sessegnon but he will be Premier bound and we already have a couple of left backs, Patrick Bamford but he would only make the bench, I can't think of many who would get in the first 11, mostly bench warmers

At the end of the day we appear to finally have a scouting system coupled with a "super agent" that seems to work ( so far ).

Don't care where they come from, just keep em coming in at the same standard. No duff ones yet !!!!

I see the new Hull City manager has left Jarrod Bowen out of his starting eleven this past week.

He looks as good an all round striker as can be seen when considering Championship options that are English and young.

Hull need the money, what should we bid?

I like Bowen, always looks a livewire, and did in the Prem.

Wouldn't be cheap but I guess with the age and already proven, we could take a gamble.

Here's the crux of the matter, I was reading the Portuguese sports pages yesterday and a very good Benfica player aged 24 has been told he can leave in January.

Same position as Bowen, has fulfilled his early potential, just fell down the pecking order.

Wolves could probably take the Benfica player on loan in January, which would reduce the risk and cost.

Couple of issues with signing a foreign player on loan: https://twitter.com/WolvesAnalytics/status/944251558522388480

André Silva? If nothing else, he'd sell a boat load of signed photos, very easy on the eye

Not pulling up trees, but were-regarded.

I trust Nuno & his team to get the right guy.

Would'nt surprise me to see another experienced keeper come in, Ruddy's falability in the air has been highlighted in the last 2 games and come the business end of the season when clubs are scrapping for points it is something teams will try to exploit.

No!!! What is the point of Norris (zero conceded in how many games, and looked a class act) if you are not going to promote him (AND - for that matter - Jack Ruddy too?) Just buying in more to make a bloated squad makes no sense.

If Nuno thinks neither is good enough for Prem (and there's loads of dodgy ones there!!!), he will go out and buy a cast-iron number 1 - but in the summer.

I'd love to see Norris in the side he's been great in the cup games, if he gets promoted fine with me but that hasn't happend yet and the way Ruddy has struggled with balls in the air if he is'nt going to be promoted we need a replacement before teams start to take advantage.

Its a bit early for a scapegoat,ay it ?
I've seen only the five league games shown on SKY,but a look at the league table
indicates Ruddy is doing a good job and doesn't need replacing atm.
Had he not turned the early shot from BC around the post,I think BC would have gone on to win the game, just my opinion of course.
He is certainly the best Keeper we have had for a few years and is a big part of where we are.
Yes,there have been the odd mistake, but name me the keeper that doesn't make mistakes.
If the mantra "in Nuno we trust"means anything, trust that the fact that ,Nuno trusts John Ruddy,
otherwise he wouldn't be in the team, would he ?
