Nuno gave him his senior debut at Valencia.

Haha. MIR in Russian means both 'Peace and also World'. Just thought that I would share that snippet.

IF I am not mistaken, the MIR space station crashed and burned in the 2000s. Let’s hope that his career didn’t suffer a similar fate, and that is why we are interested in him.....

He'd be Valencia's first team striker if they hadn't banished him to the 'B' team due to his refusal to sign a new contract. Huge signing if true.

I think they cut funding which resulted in them not being able to boost the orbit, leading to its orbit decaying and burning up in the atmosphere. That or a dog drunk on vodka was driving.....

When the American Spacelab station crashed down in Western Australia it left a heap of bits right through a municipality and the council promptly issued Nasa with a littering fine which Nasa promptly ignored. It remained unpaid for a long time until an American radio station found out about it and had their listeners donate to cover the cost of the fine since Nasa was not prepared to do it.

Looks a fair prospect, and several have been looking. Nuno knows him, and seems willing to take a punt on his future development.

But PLEASE let us not go overboard. His goals have been at a low level. He is not commanding a great fee (£1.5m is peanuts for a striker these day!).

So let us not put too much pressure on him and Nuno from the start. We have other youngsters who are promising too. They must not be forgotten.

Is Mir one for this season, or for a couple of years' time??

Bonatini from the Camel League?? Forget Threadbare, let NUNO and the Super Agent pick our new players as so far, it is working for me, but don't bring in any Divas that cannot hack in Yorkshire on a cold rainy midweek night game.

If he's half as good as his Iberian cheerleaders say he is, another fantastic signing.

Yeah, with a mouthful of Pasta perhaps. I don't trust this guy, he looks as though he would shag my or anyone's Missus if their backs were turned - just what we need as a striker - perhaps.

I shouldn't worry Moscow, I think you missus is safe, however, should Charlie Drake aka Leigh Griffiths buy a gaff on Sunny Beach, you may need to introduce surveillance at your apartment

P.s. 'Camel league' made me chuckle

That would be the total investment Madrid would put into this player between clubs.

My guess Wolves initial investment is closer to 200k rather than 1.5 million.

Great signing.

Now we just need wingback backup, a strong midfielder and to sign some of our loaned players.

Strong midfielder = Alfred.

Definitely need wing back cover though.

At the end of the day we have spent a small amount on a 6"2 striker who our manager has worked with, and thinks will be suited to HIS team. What's not to like ?
