Does the phrase 'chalk and cheese' spring to mind?

How did we get this guy? (Answer for both coaches please.)

I'm actually shit hot at backgammon (this is a fact) but I've got a feeling I'd be hard pressed to beat Nuno.

Best thing the fat controller ever did during his time at the club, was brokering the deal to sell to FOSUN.

I'm surprised he allowed his focus to move away from the Wolves, thinking about what went before doesn't add to Wolves future.

Disagree entirely, KK. You take what you learn from the pat and apply the lessons to the future. No one is rigidly stuck in the present.

Hmmm - all getting a bit philosophical....

But Nuno needs to keep his profile high, and get his teams speaking for him on the pitch. At present they seem to be effective in translating his thoughts into action.

Assuming we et promote, he will have tougher assignments, and tougher challenges. The players will find it harder to put into practice against top sides and coaches.

At that moment, we will see just how good Nuno is.

Most coaches have a problem after 2-3 years, when they have said all they have to say, and the players get 'bored' with the routine of training/coaching/speeches.... Keeping things fresh and new are a big challenge for Nuno. (See hundreds of examples of 'new coach bounce', and the customary tail off as players drift back to complacency/boredom/sameness....)

I have always said (since September anyway) that the biggest loss for us will not be a player (Jota, Neves, Boly, Price, whoever....) but if Nuno is prised away in next 3 years. I stand by that. I stand by Nuno.

If he believes his focus is not affected by coaching videos, IN NUNO WE TRUST.

Fergusson got it right by getting rid of players on a regular basis...a bit like Thatcher did with her team.

Very true! If players get tired of the boss, it's the players that need to go!

Only a few manage to maintain enthusiasm and not tire. (Perhaps they are 100% committed to person and cause, or are simply not very bright. Again, apply your analogy to Scholes & Giggs, and to Cecil Parkinson & John Major....)

I'm really glad that I don't have to listen to that Spanish commentary team and the Morse Code every time someone scores. To say it got on my tits is an understatement.

He didn't broker the deal. Morgan appointed someone from within Redrow as a director to find a buyer and get it done.

Congratulations to Chris Powell - appointed to Southend as manager, to become "the 6th BME manager in top 4 divisions".

The list of 6 includes Nuno Espirito Santo....

Do you know it had never struck me that Nuno might be classed as 'BME'. Does that indicate I am 'colour-blind', or just not very bright??

Hmmmm, a woman with the name of Pandora eventually came unstuck when she opened the box. She should have taken the money but that Michael Miles fellow pulled the wool over her eyes.

As much as I dislike him, I'd go as far as crediting the way he ran the club made us an attractive proposition to investors like fosun

Unfortunately theres a big hole in Moxeys thought pattern which is why he was rejected by Norwich though his masterplan is now being used by Ipswich.
It destroys the soul within a club and takes away the fans hopes.
