Your probably bang on.

To much heat in this January window, best wait for prices to reduce a little during the summer.

Im not saying afobe, but i think we need a striker to see us over the line. It’s too risky not to

We don't need another striker to get promoted. We had all this in August. I even got caught up in it myself. There was talk of us 'keeping in touch' with the top two until we can get that much needed striker in January.

Well, how did that go? We have lost touch with second place I guess.

We don't play a system suited to most of the 'strikers' being mentioned. We play a front three who all chip in with a respectable amount of goals. We have at least two players who will probably be approaching 20 goals each come the end of the season. We have wing backs and midfielders chipping in as well.

Frankly, the thought of one dimensional players such as Chris Martin or Benik Afobe coming into this team does not float my boat.

We need to relax and trust the manager, who, let's face it, ain't done too bad so far. Then we can get a much more suitable and better quality of footballing forward at a much more realistic price in the summer.

Would 1 or 2 key injuries change your opinion?

The Afobe rumour isn't going away. SSN reporting the loan move is on the cards but it's very tight for time.

According to The Sun it's a done deal - loan with option to buy.

Nah, I don't think he fits into how we play. But it seems like he may well be coming anyway. I suppose I'll have to relax and trust the manager.

I'm glad it's just a loan though. We can do better in the summer.

Large loan fee + all his wages, needs to score some key goals, and I think he will.

Over to Benik and Nuno.

He looks very raw.

Maybe some time in our under-23s and a few run-outs in the final games - hopefully nothing riding on them! - will help him out. I was surprised he was given the number 9 shirt and expected to make a difference in senior games immediately given how little senior football he has under his belt.

Several players linked over the weekend from a Costa Rican goalkeeper to a young full back playing in Argentina.

The net will be cast wide this summer.

Hope we don't go for a keeper, have some very good young uns here in that position. Would like to see Norris get some games once we secure promotion.

Would look at the spine CB, CM and CF. Don't think we need that much changing with the likes of Jota and Neves already here.

A lot will surely depend on what happens to the loan signings. We've got Jota tied up, but if we lose Boly, N'Diaiye, Bonatini and Vinegre, our squad looks a hell of a lot lighter

Financial fair play just became yesterdays news.

Now we can dare to dream about which players join us over the summer.

I would certainly try and get Boly and Vinagre tied to permanent deals while looking to flip both Bonatini and N'Diaiye for a profit.

But who else?

Wolves because of their envied links and super rich owners will be linked to hundreds of targets this close season.

Just as an aside Looking at the Chelsea financial accounts, money is moved between companies.
One of those listed to Chelsea now owes Roman Abramovich over a BILLION pounds.

Apparently the fee agreed between Wolves and Porto for Willy Boly is far less than has been speculated through the media.
Rather than over ten million it seems the fee is somewhere between 3 and 6 million.

The agreed fee for Diogo Jota is 8 million.

Bargains.

Deffo. Bonatini / Afobe / N’Diaye?

I’m unsure...

Agree Boly, Vinaigre, Jota

N'Diaye I might keep as a squad player; he has been content to 'do a job' for us this year, and might just be ok against the more physical sides.

My views on Afobe well known. I would love it to work, but it doesn't. He couldn't get a place in Bournemouth style, and I don't think he can in ours. Is 4th choice at Bournemouth really an upgrade when we make the Prem??

Bonatini I like. But I SO wish he would bang in 3/4 goals before the end of the season. He is not fast (but neither was Sheringham), but does have a good brain. His first touch WAS excellent, but that seems to be deserting him now too as his confidence visibly just drains away....

I think N’Diaye will be a lot better next season. That powerful figure in the middle of the pitch is what we'll need against some of the big boys.

It was a rushed agreement with his Spanish club which makes his fee seem a little expensive for what he offers.
If we can flip him for over 10 million, not making a penny I think we will.
