Never liked Selhurst Park, right little cockney sh.thole that's hard to get in and out of, at least the kick off time is bang on.

You have to fancy Wolves for this as long as you give their fast lad with a tarts haircut a bit of a kickin.

More speed than brains this lot unless they give a full game to young Max the German from Schalke.

On more money than Neves and Moutinho conbined and not been given a look in.

Forecast for this one.

Palace 1 Wolves 3.

Every time I think of Selhurst Park I think of losing 1-3 there in the playoffs with that offside goal.

Hopefully we hammer them and can head off into the two-week break on a real high.

Max Meyer is either an egomaniac par excellence or has a useless agent. He turned down a contract at a Champions League side to sit and wait for offers all summer long and now sits on the bench at a lowly club like Palarse.

Not been before. Going this time.

Don't care who they've got.... We focus on who WE'VE got, and how THEY will cope with US!

Confident of another win!

I'm on a waiting list for a ticket but I'm doubtful that I'll get one. If one was going spare I'd not hesitate in going - it's only about 5 miles away.

Their fans are very loud and proud, the team will be smarting at not yet having won a home game, so I'd be happy with a draw for this game.

Our fans seem very confident - many expect a win

I can see us slipping up (said similar several times last season and we kept on winning anyway! )

I can't stand their dirge which goes on forever and ever and is copied from one or more Turkish teams. It does my head in.

We copied under Walter Zenga and I'm glad we've stopped it.

I'm glad we've ditched the Icelandic clap (not least because we've got shot of bod)

That one really made me cringe

It was OK at first but it definitely paled after a short while...particularly when you could see the players weren't into it much after a mediocre performance.

How much are those two on out of interest?

As a guess I'd say 40k for Neves and 50k for moutinho, maybe 50k both?

Cheap at twice that and more when you consider what the likes of ozil and sanchez receive

I'm content that the squad is well prepared for this one.
Other than something unforeseen like Docs own goal v Leicester, its an away win for me.

I bow to your superior knowledge of London and its surroundings, not having the Fred Housego memory for locations.

I should bloody well think so; I wouldn't dream of telling you what's what about the Golden City! 8)

Palarse might not be cockney territory but you can be born sarf of the river and still be a cockney

"But not far away."

True, Bermonsey mainly, but it often confuses people who think 'Bow Bells' refers to the bells of St. Mary's, Bow rather than St. Mary le Bow in Cheapside and put the cockneys in the wrong place. Surprised there hasn't been an endangered species debate in parliament to save them :D

I have to admit that I don't like their lingo and in all the 40 odd years I've lived down here I can't say that any of them have been close friends. 8)

Really upmarket Bermondsey these days with a massive change over the past 30 odd years from what was the first docks to serve London. Century past.
Through yuppies into the outward spread of the City.

Wouldn't that be about half an hour from Croydon and Palace,

Surrey Quays is smart but the rest of Bermondsey is dire. Palace is about ten minutes on a motorbike to Croydon (done it loads of times) but Palace to Bermondsey is going to be longer than half an hour by car. It'll take me 30 minutes from Lewisham to Palace and in the other direction 30 minutes to Bermondsey.

Not a great looking game this one.

18 minutes in. We look clumsy and awkward.

Not at all an attacking performance. Palace applying the pressure and forcing the mistakes.

Ten minutes later and we are starting to have more of an impact on the game. Creating chances.

Despite not playing at our best we have had two or three very good chances to score. Keep it up lads.

Jota in the Premier League is starting to become painful. Traore and Cav on ASAP please before we go behind.

Jota, just like Costa, needs a PL goal, then watch their confidence soar.

Spanking Neves half-volley an inch or two over the bar. A sighter perhaps?
