There's certainly a few there Gladbach. The ones I remember most are the individual faces in a circular badge. I used to long for these in the early 60's but I never used to have enough to buy one.

I used to routinely wear the Wolves head/cross of St George badge on me stab vest :) despite it being considered a poor uniform choice by senior officers and away fans!! :lol:

I see Hancock and Flowers were so good they could play standing on their heads. :lol: I was a few years later than that but those were the badges I cherished.

The ticket is from my first away game at Bramall Lane when it was still three-sided. We won 2-1. My lasting memory was the pitch, which was entirely rolled in sand except for triangles of a grass at each corner.

The badges are from the fifties but the brooch which was my Nan's dates from before WW2, probably for the 1939 Cup Final but it maybe earlier.

The brooch is a reverse cut lucite brooch - lucite being the (perspex) material. They often come with bunches of flowers. As you say, they were made in the 1930s and through to the early 1950s.

I know about these things! 8)
