.....PFA fans Player of the Month. Fantastic achievement. Ahead of the likes of Hazard, Aguero, Sterling. Further proof that our club has arrived.

Chelsea might be able to get our Matt if they offer Hazard + cash. [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Not sure if I would have him ahead of Hazard but well done. Such a threat going forward, not sure what O'Neill was on about, and come a long way from Bohemians.

Well done Doc, a fan vote not a peer or pundit one but still recognition of a fine ascendency in the game over the last two years. Remarkable.

Its an indicator of how talent can develop or be lost to the top flight depending on the quality of the coach.

There's little doubt Doherty and Coady would have struggled under previous Wolves coaches to be anything more than Championship journeymen.

Thinking back there must be many a Wolves talent through the decades who never fulfilled their potential.

Many who had long distinguished Wolves careers but never pushed on and showed their full range and capabilities.

I always thought that about another Wolves full back Derek Parkin, I thought Wolves really wasted his talent and never extended and improved him.

Agree 100% with all points.

instead of always moaning about money needed to buy better players (like Benitez & most managers) Nuno is committed to improving the players he has got.

But sounds like Doc still can't force his way into the Republic of Ireland team....

(GOOD - he needs a bit of a rest, and we don't want him injured!! Sorry Doc - you deserve a cap, but we need you!)

Oh rats! The reports this morning were just to mislead....

Doc starts. But what formation?? Just hope he's a wingback with a back 3, not a right-side midfielder in front of a back 4!

Just come back fit and well!! (And good luck for tonight!)

Bit of a pointless exercise the Irish have not a clue how to use Doherty and get the best out of his assets.

They shouldn't let such people take charge of football teams.

Watching the Irish vs Wales game I looked specifically at the tactical side of Irelands game within a 3-4-3 and was surprised.

Matt Doherty was positionally spot on, all those hours on the Wolves training field working well, plus his in game concentration was bang on.

What surprised me most was Ireland and MON produced a tactically sound 3-4-3.

Ok there were limitations with the three at the back and the central midfield lost position quite often but by and large they stuck to it.

Well done Martin O'Neil you must have found a young coach to put a difficult system to your players.
