Well! Who'd have thought?

Wolves get to Europe. And what happens? I cannot have my seat for the home games as they have been allocated to UEFA !!

They intend to ring me next week nd 'discuss where I might be able to be re-located'.

I assume this means that I will not be with all the friends I have made around me over the years?
I assume this means that if Wolves get to Europe in future years, I will always lose my seat?
Will the club warn any future purchasers of season tickets that they will have to move for Euro games?
Will I be allowed to re-locate next year to an area where I keep ,y ticket?

And the most galling thing is that I expect half of the seats given away to UEFA will be empty on the night!

This is extremely shabby.

Why weren't we warned this would happen BEFORE we renewed our tickets?

To make matters worse, I am away for 2 weeks and uncontactable by phone, so the club will not be able to call me on "the evening of 11th September" (there's an auspicious date!). I am going to try to ring today, as I leave for the high seas tomorrow....

Sorry about the rant, and I know many will not be sympathetic, but having spent a small fortune on supporting the Wolves over many years, I find this appalling!

Its just wrong that these free loader organisations can place such conditions on football clubs.

Aren't UEFA the organisers of the very competition Wolves have entered themselves into, a competition in which they also pay Wolves prize monies?

The wider debate asks more questions regards who is the key factor, teams or organisers.

Loyalty of the fan or money oriented.

Really unfortunate as if they'd have told you before the season, you and your friends could have all tried to find seats together elsewhere. Hopefully this is something that Wolves didn't know would happen and UEFA didn't inform them of this until recently.

Think about it this way, you're one in a hundred and fifty. 8)

It's the price to pay for seeing your team play in the EL. Life could be a lot worse. 8)

South Bankers get kicked out of their seats for FA Cup games. It isn't life-threatening and it happens all the time to all clubs who want to dine at the Euro top table.
