Do you remember the original Scott?

Did he go to the Antarctic?

He may well have done. The original Scott Robinson (Darius Perkins) was replaced by Jason Donovan in the first series, and hasn't been seen since. Perhaps he went walkabout.

Breach of the Peace still carries a citizens power of arrest here, has it gone from the UK mate ?
BOP is an antiquated power nowadays Mr Ging, it is fraught with dangers. The modern Bobby chooses the Affray option so that it can be handed on,plus bail is applicable, whereas BOP has no power to bail.
Custody officers dislike BOP because once it has finished you ay really got anything else, plus they have to be kept in for court the following day which blocks cell space plus the court calendar for shitty bind overs. Also, once you choose the Affray option you cannot revert back to your BOP powers for charging or remanding.
You intervene in a BOP using your common law powers and you get a counter allegation of assault from the other party, who do you think will be locked up??

Bri's best bet is not to get involved at all and use the legislation that is there. The resources that have been put into neighbourhood Policing over the last few years dwarf what have been invested in my neck of the woods, it has also put big pressures on the immediate response/ front line Bobby, hey ho,.... use them if they are there.
You know, in rereading this, if I was the victim, I would rather like the idea of "no bail" and as I have the power of arrest as a citizen...........It would be game on. ( but that's just me 8) 8) )

A missed opportunity, mate, solidarity is the by-word in such cases. You should have rubbed their noses in their own shite.

You could have been silhouetted and had an actor's voice-over and said all sorts of things about fearing reprisals and God knows what. To think of what damage you could have done. 8)

How many folk would view the programme on Channel 5 anyway, about a handful at best.

I also think that Mr Bus should've appeared in some form or other as solidarity is required in a name and shame scenario and I mean, he could've got Brad Pitt to play his role for example.

Throughout this saga, have you considered moving, or are you hoping she will?

Good news for you Mr Laws, for the time being. However, it seems that they've got skin as thick as a rhino's arse so as soon as the crew go they'll kick off again.

 It could be fun - better than watching any soap the box has to offer. Keep the curtains open, turn the armchairs around, a pair of binoculars each and hey presto.

I'd love to see this programme, when is it due to be shown?

Will there be any clips of the Banker squatting and pishing in the parking space.

Actually, I have already forgotten about what she is doing wrong, need to go back and read the thread from the start again.

I feel your pain Brian, been having "issues" with one of my neighbours also, resulted in me facing four charges of serious assault with a weapon, the upside is, they will be getting hit with an ASBO in the next few days.
