Ouch. That's bad news. Might get you out of that job for a few weeks though.

Hip problems have always been a noted consequence of cross-dressing. It's just a bastard to get used to those high-heels

Defo worth a competition or a Poll this one! I'm guessing a fall of over 2 metres. You weren't doing a Rod Hull were you?

So, you're completely immobile at the moment then - wheelchair bound/crutches - don't envy you that. Do they put broken hips in Plaster of Paris or just tight bandages? If the former then, the itching is going to be a Bitch during the hotter weather.

Because im below 50 and my bones were in fair nick they put plates and screws instead of full hip replacement.Staples come out next thursday and it's the dressing change that is a bugger it's a free waxing too!!!!!!!! Yep no weight bearing on it for six weeks minimum, no plaster but crutches to help me hop.

Wouldn't mind betting that that's very close to the truth...in a sort of way.

Just some good news for a change  and it does make a change in a year and a bit to forget.
Firstly a small personal accident insurance I didn't know I had paid out £300, not life changing but I'm not getting paid from work(bar ssp).
Also ppi gets a bad press but I have protection on 2 credit cards and the one isn't bad paying out 10% of the balance per month but the other is 20%.
It was also straight forward once I sent off the relevent info, no queries, no haggling, no clauses meaning I get nothing.
It all helps and with good family and some brilliant friends I feel pretty lucky, which may sound strange considering my predicament :D

I'm pleased you had a couple of small bits of good news KBS. As for me and my predilections, I just like to enjoy life's full tapestry.
