I know it's my own fault blah blah but.............. I'm doing the teas and one wants egg on toast, easy av some of that, next wants a bacon sandwich, simple enough and the "i've got three months off till i go to sixth form" one suggests she would like a bacon salad ffs So daddy knob head does as he is commanded and finishes it off with some grated cheese, mayo and black pepper and a touch of oil and serves it to lady teenager. Now as she is getting it down her neck she says "i should have been a chef" no not me her ffs yes really!!!How do you work that out i ask her, well i asked for a bacon salad and it's briliant. What logic is that What happened to the "one" tea for all we got when we were kids anyway?Soft ******* us parents nowadays

My dear old Nan used to love bread dipped in beef dripping, and I recall it being quite a treat as a kid. She also said brains on toast were lovely. Not for me.
Also, I've never tried tripe and onions, chitlings, or pigs trotters....or sweet bread.

I have had a problem with my throat, sinuses, etc for decades now. Seen many specialists, had many sprays and treatmentsm douches and steroids all to no avail.Prior to a final try at surgery the last one said to go dairy free for a month, which I am doing, and to be fair it is having some positive effect?
I have discovered a lactose free cheddar at Sainsburys which is absolutely fookin gorgeous so some good has come out on it.

OK, so I have learnt something today, lactose is a sugar produced in milk and other dairy products, so do you have some form of diabetes? Any road, I need to pop down Waitrose to stock up on Cherrygood, so I shall pick up some of this Aria and see what it's like.

Some folk's systems cannot tolerate Lactose, Gluten etc. hence they call it an Intolerance. It doesn't mean that you're diabetic. I don't know about the NHS, but in Russia for example, you could go and get a whole range of ALLERGY tests done to find out what your system can and won't tolerate.

Thankfully, I'm not allergic to grapes, hops, wheat, barley, yeast, and water. I'd be suicidal. Add vadge to the list.
