many members have every week taken the time to participate in the foresaid topic. sadly we have been let down by the staff who run it. maybe they don't have time to finalise the results? but there is growing concern about the attitude and importance of members time who try and support the wolf. whoever wins this year will be greatly diluted by this! do the right thing get it sorted and sort yourselves out for the sake of the wolf. it grieves me to post this but it isn't the way to run a major wolves forum.

Unfortunately people do have other commitments outside of the forum, things like work and families. Clocks has run the prediction league for years and it does take up a lot of time so we can forgive him for the results being a little late. He is however working on it now ;-)

To be honest, I think people can wait a bit to find out who's won an online prediction league , if the person giving up free time to do it has important commitments . I'm sure the world won't end just yet and Clocks will have it all sorted soon.

Yeah, I've got to apologise folks, 13 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last 2 months has wasted me. Today is my first day off since the middle of March.

Thanks for your patience all, and it's all sorted now.

Like Pogue, I think that goes too far.

At risk of being accused of being 'lacking in humour', I think that many things are fair game (even if I am accused of being wimpish for denigrating the obscenities that often populate this board). Some people get a buzz by abusing each other (verbally), and seem to engage with each other equally viciously.

BUT we often refer on here to 'real supporters' and all that nonsense. Many on here find it a substitute - if not a good one - for attending the games. It makes them feel closer to THEIR club, a club they would desperately LOVE to support in person ... but simply have other financial priorities.

So while most things are fair game, I am really disappointed that someone as erudite as Rozza clearly is would throw out such a 'cheap' line and insult those on this board who may not be employed - and imply it is their fault.

I am lucky. I am relatively well off. But I have empathy for those much less fortunate - not less talented, just less fortunate. So PLEASE can we not abuse our fellow supporters on matters of finance. It demeans those who say it, not those of whom it is said.

Rozza - consider yourself admonished! An apology would be appreciated and restore your reputation.

Whilst I understand your sentiments Silverstone, I must say that I read Rozza's post as ironic (as he often is) and I felt that in essence he was making the same point as you.

The way we interpret each other's communications often leads to misunderstandings on here.

Mr Silver you are right, I need to be more circumspect with my invective in future, I may in fact try to use the private messaging system on this site to get my points across.

Righto then, to whom do I make the cheques out to?

Just "To whom do I make out the cheques?" Care not to end the above sentence with 'to' or 'out'. Let's have an entirely literate board! (The Victorians have a lot for which to answer!)
