Received an email off the hosting company:

Quote:
Dear Mr. Lee Ashbourne,

On behalf of the eHosting team, I would like to thank you for your continued custom and support. We take great pride in being able to provide the service we do and will continue to find ways to provide you with the highest quality service our industry has to offer.

As you may be aware from varying sources, there have been a number of events over recent years that have directly and indirectly impacted our business and industry, such as the rise in power costs, supplier support and hardware costs that increased by at least 10%, domain registration costs up 15%, and software licensing costs went up by over 30%, just to name a few. We have attempted to do our best in managing these rising costs internally through a series of increased efficiencies, cost cutting measures and other activities over that time. At this point however, we can no longer buffer our customers from these rising supplier costs and are forced to pass along a modest increase so that we can maintain the same level of service and quality that you expect from eHosting.

Effective at your next subscription renewal date, we will implement price increases as shown in the table below on domain names and hosting plan services. The date of a subscriptions renewal can be found in the Account>Subscriptions section of your eHosting control panel at http://www.ehosting.com/signin .

New entry-level shared hosting plan pricing will be;

Starter hosting plan £2.49, Personal hosting plan £5.99, Expert hosting plan £9.99

Domain names (.com/.uk/.net/.info and some other TLDs) are now £12.50 each.

All other entry-level shared hosting plans (eS) and reseller (eR) plans will be increased by 10%. Please refer to your most recent invoice from us for pre-increase pricing. When reading your most recent invoice, please note that only the base plan price will be increased, add-ons to your services (SSL Certificates, IP's etc) will remain at the same price. Should you have any queries, our staff will be pleased to help you; simply email billing@ehosting.com . All prices exclude VAT.

As ever, our industry leading, fast and helpful email support service will remain completely free to you. The eHosting team assures you of our commitment to provide the highest quality services, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service for the money you pay.

Sincerest Regards,

Neil Barnfather
CEO eHosting Limited

I have highlighted the section that applies to us, this basically means we now need to raise £72 a month to keep The Wolf online :smt100

Just out of interest which PLAN is The Wolf on and what does it comprise of in terms of storage and monthly usage. Had a look for my own benefit, but can't understand which plan you have or how they reach that monthly total?

We are not actually on any of the plans they offer now, we are on an older plan that was tweaked to suit our needs as we have gone along.

Fair enough, but what do you get on the old plan in terms of the number of websites, email addresses, storage and bandwidth etc.?
