1. I'm going with Javi Garcia as Watford rotate managers very quickly. Next guess would be Mark Hughes because he's terrible. But Southampton are a little more patient as a club.

2. Nuno - safe, Bruce - think he'll survive at least one more season; Monk - will do a solid job with Brum, would only leave if he gets a better job IMO; Moore - really unsure about this one; John Askey (Shrews) - Hurst left for Ipswich, so I guess he's the most likely candidate as I think their success last season will be difficult to replicate; Keates (Walsall) - Could be him as well as Walsall barely survived last season

Moore is just too affable a guy to survive. Bruce on borrowed time, gone by Christmas unless Villa are challenging. Shrewsbury and Walsall always punching above their weight. Their managers scramble to hold on, no matter what.

1. Claude Puel, Neil Warnock or Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho is already complaining about transfers and he seems to have a sulk on whenever he's doing press duties. I feel like he's setting himself up for a resignation. That said, I don't think he'll be first to go.

Cardiff's signings have been quite underwhelming and I can't see many of the players cutting it in the PL. I think they'll struggle and get rid.

Claude Puel has never seemed very popular over at Leicester, I can see the fans growing restless quite quickly if things don't start well enough.

2. Aside from Nuno, I think Darren Moore will do enough to keep his job. I'm not sure whether the Albion will bounce straight back but I think they'll be ok despite the lack of signings. I imagine the owners will give him the time to rebuild. I think Steve Bruce's position is already fractured. I don't know the ins and outs of the Thierry Henry link, but I reckon the owners will be keeping an eye out elsewhere. Gary Monk just needs to keep the Blues away from the drop zone and he'll be ok. I don't care enough about Walsall to comment on their manager

Mourinho.

Nuno and Bruce will be there at the end of the season. Villa up through the POs.

Pellegrini will be the first Prem manager to pack his bags.

Both Monk and Bruce are sailing very close to the wind and both could go before the season's end but if Brum have enough money to pay Monk off then he will probably be the first to go.

I can't see us being any lower than mid-table so Nuno will be here.

John Askey (Shrewsbury - it is in the West Midlands...just) isn't winning any friends but I doubt that Shrewsbury can afford to sack him.

Albion will be in and out of the top 6 throughout the season so there'll be no point in sacking Darren Moore unless they drop to mid-table.

I know nothing about Walsall but they've got off to a good start. It would be nice to see them beat the other three next season whichever division they're all in.

Hopefully not.

Good squad of players at Villa yet Bruce continues to struggle in creating a structure to develop team performance..

They look fine within a 4-1-4-1

Derby looking good, not much else.

The man himself is obsessed with a desire for 4-4-2 though. Even to the point of putting their best player Greasy out on the wing where he is totally inactive.

Strange creature Bruce, obviously very limited but does the basic well of signing the best available players which creates an opportunity.

Isn't fried cabbage and potato 'bubble & squeak'?

If Bruce is Squeak, who is Bubbles?? I think we should be told....

Police and club trying to identify who threw the cabbage.

Rumour is the police want to prosecute, but the club want to offer him the job....

Cabbage and potatoes go together very well.

Rumour has it that a Villa fan before being checked at the turnstiles pulled his jacket over his head, held the cabbage on top donned with a cloth cap and no one noticed any difference. Strange but allegedly true.

Thierry Henry is a terrible appointment. Traditional mangerial appointment, foreign random big name ex player. Dean Smith deserves a go at a bigger team.

Lopetegui already set for the sack at Real, bullet dodged, turns out he is the Spanish Southgate.

Hughes gone at Soton and likely to be replaced by Hasenhüttl. Disappointing development for us if so as he did really well in the Bundesliga.

He's very brave with his set up with a high energy press that's always trying to play in the opponents half.
Worth watching, he will remove the comfort zone.

Never happy to see anyone sacked at Christmas, but a multi million pound pay off for abject failure will be more compensation than most of us could dream of EVER earning, so i'll save the sympathy.

So glad we will be spared the arrogant, tetchy press conferences, the excuses, the blaming of players, the reminders of what he USED to win and the general air of miserableness.

Can't say i'm surprised or saddened. Has been on cards for weeks.

Who next? Another 'foreign superstar', or the likes of Eddie Howe? Perhaps even Pochettino?? Or Didier Deschamps (purely on grounds he got Pogba playing well...!!)

Interim appointment to end of season. Who on earth....???

You could have sacked me any time you wanted to for a £24 million pay off Mr Silver. In fact, doing it at Christmas would have made it even better.

Mourinho, yesterday's man playing yesterday's football, a man who is always right and everyone else wrong. He'll never manage in the PL again.

An interim manager until summer..?. Step forward Harry Redknapp or Steve Bruce.

I have heard it from the yoghurt stacker in Tesco, that he has been seen at the Bucks Head. They hope to have him in place before the home game against Spennymoor.

Sad day for Telford. He'll lead them to nowhere.

So much wrong at Man Utd and not the patience to sort it properly.

You cant just throw money at it then expect it to happen.

Who cares.

Fulham will be in dire straights if they go down.

Mourinho was toxic and sadly I expect that the caretaker manager will realise who should be playing and they'll then pick up a few points.

The fans that broke away and created their own club had the right idea.

Its a soulless cash cow for the owners and everyone involved in it. apart from those that matter..the fans.

Its a lesson for other clubs, even Wolves, there are boundaries.
