Don’t know wether he was arrogant or ignorant but if you spend an amount of time in a country you at least try to speak the language and not depend on your little pet to speak for you.
I genuinely think he can speak English as his expression visibly changes when lurchio says the wrong thing.

Spot on, he referred to his best defender in a sentence during a TV interview and said in Spanish "Koch, I like him more on my inside or in my own hands" His interpreter fell silent and stared a bit.
