His agent has been talking to Benfica about Silva taking over their hot seat next season.

Two more gone today:

Pep Clotet at Oxford and Robbie Neilson at MK Dons, both sacked. Talk of Frank Lampard getting in at Oxford.

They looked truly awful at the weekend. I think we would have got close to double figures against them on that showing, but they'll probably unveil a new manager right before our game now.

There's a very interesting documentary on Bradford being bought out by two Germans, who then appointed McCall, which might be of interest

Feb 2nd, Heckingbottom signs a new contract. Feb 6th, looks like he's about to become the new Leeds boss. Football, huh?

Barnsley going down?

He has a get out clause within his new contract because he feared he couldn't live with the new moneyball system the owners of Barnsley wish to use.

They signed an Austrian during the January window based on stats which show him the best player within that league.

Christoph Knasmullner. lets see if the theory back up the stats.

There's a bit of musical chairs going on with regard to Mansfield Peterborough and now Swindon.

Owen Coyle resigns at Ross County. That bloke is a failure in football management.

It's crazy how a few half decent years early in a management career (often more down to luck or other factors, than how good you are as a manager) and you can basically live off it for the next 10+ years of constant failure.

In other news, Cotterill sacked. Press ran a story today that if WBA lost to Watford Pardew would be out as well. Will be an interesting weekend!

This is old news but I've only just found out...about Cotterill, Birmingham and Monk.

Sign of the times, I guess with so few coming on here these days. :(

Lots of high quality players at Blues looking for a manager to organise them, Monk will do that, certs now to stay up.

Cotterill is a fraud. Useless.

Cotterill is enthusiastic, but a lower/non league manager. His interview after the Forest defeat spoke volumes, saying how you could see the players were behind him, then Chris Iwelumo tore them apart in the studio analysis. They were a disorganised rabble, but that said, Blues had enough chances at Forest, but it doesn't help when your keeper drops another clanger early doors.

Cotterill, in his interviews as manager of Birmingham, was simply Saunders-esque.

Southampton and Walsall are looking for new managers. Pardew still in place so far.

What a joke of a club...after 15 years service they turn up to the training ground Monday to sack him, not knowing he was on a course, at Burton.
Jon is a good honest guy, who maybe was out of his depth, but did his best
The deluded fans got what they wanted and now think Shakey is going to leave Everton??
And, Keates at Wrexham has a bigger budget to work with than Whitney had.

Same old, same old, I'm afraid, whose cheapest..?
Is Buckley available?

Someone should send Cotterill the dvd of the Birmingham vs Hull game and ask him why he was a million miles from that.

More chances created, more forward movement, more passing options.

Cotterill, ask yourself why cant I do that, then before you apply for another position.
Ask yourself why the fans will in a short space of time hate you.

Fraud to the game.
