Saves Man U or Real paying compensation.
Think Poch's head had been turned.

Massive surprise, huge gamble by the Spurs chairman.
I wonder how this will effect Wolves, will Mendes be looking to move Neves to the lane.
Will Harry Winks be house buying in Whitmore Reans.
Do Spurs need a Mexican striker?

Disappointing from a Wolves perspective, if only due to the fact Spurs have been utterly rotten for 8 months and we still haven't had the chance to play them during that period.
Spurs will have a stronger remainder of the campaign now. Mourinho's problem is long-term building of a club, not getting a club to win in the short-term, and often win big trophy wise.
Hopefully Poch goes to Spain. The last thing we want is him revitalising Man Utd. Let them wallow in mediocrity with Solksjaer as we try to build the gap to the top 6.
I feared once Bayern didn't show any interest in Mourinho that he'd soon be turning up in the PL again - be it Arsenal or Spurs.

Not sure Mourinho isn't a busted flush anyway, and I would be surprised if Spurs have much money after the way the FA fleeced then on renting Wembley. I could see that Spurs side disintegrating.

Mendes will be waiting to assist Mourinho in revitalising their squad though.
Getting elite players willing to join Utd was tricky, but how about a Neves instead of a Harry Winks for the midfield, Jose? Champions League football, Ruben, it's right there for you...

Do Spurs need a Mexican striker? The above plus the Arsenal link for Nuno, means FOSUN will possibly have to show their real intent.. stick or twist

Silva, must be doomed Only a bad run of upcoming fixtures, must be the only thing keeping him in a job
Emery will go soon, too, putting pressure on Fosun

Emery gone.
We will see....
Come on Fosun - show you mean to be in with the big boys by giving Nuno an enhanced contract, and a promise to support in the next 2 transfer windows.

Emery will go soon, too, putting pressure on Fosun These coaches place themselves under undue pressure when they place their whole emphasis on attacking play. Doing so without having adequate defenders at their clubs first. History shows us as with Brazil in 82, you can have the worlds best attacking talents but without being solid, you win feck all. So don't look surprised when results turn against you.

There's a young Romanian striker gathering the scouts, Dennis Man, never seen him myself.

Napoli have appointed Gennaro Gattuso as their new manager. The Italians parted company with Carlo Ancelotti last night.

He could actually make a difference. 90% of all managers make very little difference after the initial honeymoon period.

“The previous two managers were coaches. What this club has been crying out for for a long time is a manager." Ben Foster Watford FC.
True that.
The dressing room required one BOSS, who would get a grip.

Graeme Jones sacked by Luton Town, the first Corona era managerial sacking, cost cutting as well as the team was bottom and adrift..

I’d like to have witnessed the interaction between Pearson and the owner at Watford after the weekend match. It must have been some row to have been given the sack!

I read that he found out from one of the backroom staff and that he was never told directly as he was recovering from Covid and was in isolation.
