If the world was made up of people just like Ray Wilkins what a wonderful world that would be.

Lovely Fella, RIP Ray.

Gordon Banks dies, persons of a certain age will remember this mild giant of a man and his iconic save against the best ever player and the best ever team there has ever been.
RIP Banks'y.

This one hurts more than most because there must have been a time when we all wanted to be Gordon Banks.
When it came to goalkeepers there was Gordon Banks then the rest.

You always felt that by selecting him England had a goal start.

Not only one of the all time greats, a great man, a modest man. A man of the people.

Thankyou Gordon. RIP.

The sale of Dougan and Banks, saw the decline of a good Leicester side in 1967.
It is rumoured that Dougan told John Ireland to sign Banks, but nothing came of it.

Just imagine adding Banks to the Wolves side of '67...

Gordon Banks set the standard for goalkkeeping, he was a wonderful man, who leaves so many great memories..thanks
