Just thinking longer term within a 3-4-3 a real difficulty is fitting in Dele Alli.

For my mind to retain the balance and width in the front three positions with and without the ball I wouldn't select him.

Team before individuals every time.

Perhaps Adam Lallana is similar as well. I thought Alli played well int he midfield for Spurs v Liverpool. Could he fit in there? Not like we are blessed with options there

Obviously the concern is young English players not getting enough minutes at Club level.

We see the potential of Gomez at International level but his minutes for Liverpool are not enough.
In many respects this mirrors the Wolves experience for Kortney Hause.

Premier league clubs can buy in a minimum dozen continental finished products while using those developed at youth levels for the bench and squad places.
Is Solanke going to develop while at Liverpool or does he just develop his bank balance.

How does Jack Price or Ronan develop game awareness without playing games.

To much money at rich clubs enables them to stockpile many unused under developed talents.

So whats the answer?

Will the youth at Wolves be allowed to develop..and
What is the point of the academy? Now that we are a rich club.

Pleased to see Sweden qualify, a team short of stars but what togetherness and great teamwork.

Tough call for the coach, all about the teamwork and he didn't play a role in getting there. That said he might have an ego but hisn't a disruptive influence, perhaps take him as a super sub.

Selling our talent providing useful "Income" to offset expenditure and keep within the laughable fair play rules ?

The spacing is better within the England team but the full backs and holding midfield players still suffer with inconsistency in this respect.

Far less posing more deliberate passing, which is to be admired.

Ditto...
Some good movement, and passing, concentration levels need to be maintained from start to finish.

This nonsense of giving the keeper the ball and running out the box to the wings whilst two attackers are in the box is bollocks and fraught with danger.

Football is a game of risk and strategy, you have to offer your opponents the opportunity of winning the ball high.

If you don't they park the bus with all eleven players staying compact behind the ball.
