Those who predicted big things for Manchester United, any second thoughts?

If your Luke Shaw and have been publicly criticized by José Mourinho you have to nip that in the bud, you can't become the managers patsy.

He has to go to the managers office and demand the same treatment for ALL, every member of the squad.
If I was Luke I would ask Jose if he would publicly admonish Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney for walking about when they should be running and pressing.

Because if not Jose, dont come all large if I make a positional error.

Fuck you , you Portuguese gnome.

You can't let bullies get away with it.

Eh. They've still got loads of talented players. Two of the best in the league in Ibra and Pogba. Testament to how good Ibra is in that he hasn't even played all that well IMO, but he's got four league goals. I think Man City look the favorites now. Underestimated how quickly they'd get things going.

Bad news for Arsenal as last season and this season were their best chances of winning the Prem with all the transitions elsewhere. Sorry end for Wenger era. Still long time to go though.

And I vastly overestimated Stoke and West Ham. They look atrocious. Sack race between Hughes, Guidolin and Bilic right now.

I dont think looking at United they have enough yardage in their front six positions without the ball.
Meaning when they play the better sides they give away to much time on the ball.

Dropping Rooney would be a start in moving in the right direction, the lads a passenger for club and country.

Utd are lazy.

Runs from the top to the bottom, they've got a manager who's attitude is to replace players that aren't yet good enough, rather than develop them.

Rooney dropped and now united look a lot better.

I think it's terrible Carrick and Schneiderlin aren't playing.

Wouldn't be surpised if most the premiership don't try to get them.

I'd love to see Carrick at Wolves! Would be worth a good 80k a week for me. Improve us on and off the pitch. Perfect partner next to Saiss?

Jack Price would do the same job but within a 4-3-3 teams are looking for mobility over high quality technical passing.
Thats why Dave Edwards is invaluable at this time, his work yesterday without the ball was immense.

This season Dave Edwards has produced three performances that are up there with anything he has ever produced in a Wolves shirt.
Its just a pity that during his teenage youth or during his early years at Wolves that coaches didn't work him constantly and consistently on passing technique and execution.
Its a regular failing within the English professional coaching system, this neglect of detailed work.

Arsenal have it all this season, they could win quite a lot.

They have the ability now to play intricate football through you if you drop off, or the speed to beat you if you push high.
Plus a much better balance through midfield that in previous seasons had deserted them.

If you have someone in the boardroom who is capable of studying the process rather than results you can stick with a good coach.

I said ages ago that Sunderland under David Moyes are far better than last season in the way the team moves in a good structure.

Results will always turn if the coach can maintain the confidence.

Always admired Carrick, plays it forward early, love watching Mousa Dembele Spurs.

Spurs just bought rubbish last summer, should have been very close this season.

If your Crystal Palace or any other club in danger of relegation go and buy from the selling club. Hull City.

Harry Maguire is your ticket to survival right there.

Pay 10 million get the deal done.

Within two more full seasons you can cash him in for 30 million when he becomes a regular for England.

Harry Maguire the new Joleon Lescott.

There you go, Knocker always prepared to put it on the line, never using hindsight.

Could be 40 million...

You are such a comedian Knocker. I'm still looking forward to the £20m+ for Price.

Another key and instrumental performance from Maguire the best English centre back in the Premier league.

Open your eyes to his quality people.

We really missed the boat with this one...
Top central defenders are at a premium at the moment.

Harry Maguire is what I term as a Bob Paisley type signing because its not what you see now its whats likely in the future.

Harry Maguire is this seasons Mark Lawrenson and I'm surprised Leicester City not Liverpool were his destination.

Year on year this kid will improve you can just see it in him, but even now he should be a regular in the England back four.

At Wolves Jack Price has similar qualities in respect to growth, but most havent seen it yet.

Bob Paisley now there was a shrewd spotter of talent.
