I am honestly very unsure about this season in the Championship. Lots of teams in transition and a few of the bigger clubs dropped down from the Prem. But I'm not sure how they'll adjust. More confident in Newcastle as I think they'll splash the cash. But I think I'm giving a bump to managers that have experience in this league. I think whoever hires Steve Bruce will be in the thick of the hunt later in the season. Say what you will about style, but the man knows how to get out of the second tier.

1. Norwich City
2. Newcastle United
3. Sheffield Wednesday
4. Derby County
5. Ipswich Town
6. Aston Villa
7. Birmingham City
8. Brighton Hove & Albion
9. Wigan Athletic
10. QPR
11. Nottingham Forest
12. Wolves
13. Huddersfield Town
14. Brentford
15. Cardiff City
16. Fulham
17. Reading
18. Blackburn
19. Barnsley
20. Preston North End
21. Leeds United
22. Bristol City
23. Burton Albion
24. Rotherham United

Wolves - top 6. That's all I'm interested in at the moment.

I think Burton will surprise a few, going to be hard to beat, so much hight and hard working players.

O'Grady is the perfect striker for them.

Barnsley, my dark dark horses. I like a lot of there players, might come short in experience and depth but on there day, will score goals.

I fear for Wolves, not a fan of the manager, not my cup of tea. Might work for us, I wouldn't be surpised if we end up with Clough.

Rotherham just lack a goal scorer. I was hoping they splash out in Lee Gregory or maybe Washington onloan if QPR get a few more strikers in.

Fulham look the strongest they have for a while, I'd be surprised if they don't go in for Chris Martin.

QPR, going to be weird, cross roads for the squad. A couple over paid player s still there, a few lower league players bought buy Ramsey. JFH is doing a good little job, going for character. Might be a year to soon.

Promoted Newcastle, Norwich, Sheff Wed

Relegated Burton, Rotherham and then one of Blackburn or Nottingham Forest, those 2 clubs are gonna have a mare. I'd lean more towards Blackburn, what do people see in Owen Coyle, the guy is a proven failure

When I initially created this thread I hadn't got a clue on Wolves and Ipswich so I just left their names at the bottom of the list.

There's a few I would change not many, and Wolves we can safely say have every opportunity to gain promotion.

There's nothing much to fear. I still like the look of Norwich, tactically very sound.

I got Martin to Fulham and Barnsley right.

Pearson is on the verge of getting sacked. Good days.

At face value it may not look much but that home point for Ipswich was the result of the night.

McCarthy gave Brighton NOTHING.

It aint a crowd pleaser but those performances are priceless over the course of a season.

How much longer for Alan Stubbs? Poached from Hibernian, and on a three year contract, but losing for fun. My Rotherham STH colleague, highlighted the absurd possession stats the opposition have against them, but Stubbs wants to play possession football :?:

Well that forecast went to shit though I still haven't given up on Wolves and Norwich coming good this season.
