Pardew has upped the ante now by claiming he had four players suffer injuries whilst waiting for VAR.

Elfen safety might get it binned?

Don't know why people get so upset when a decision is wrong. Human error, laws can always be interpreted different. Even with VAR there are still differences of opinion.

The goal line technology is good, instantaneous, accurate and no interpretation needed. Maybe for a World Cup final or the latters stages of the world cup, VAR has a a place, but otherwise refereeing controversy is part and parcel of the game.

In Brazil the top clubs were asked for 200k each to implement VAR, they said no thanks.

VAR aside it would help in games like tonight with snow to simply have the right coloured ball for the game...bring back the orange one.

Well the IFA have sanctioned it regardless of any of the issues and concerns that have been raised recently. We knew they would ....makes you wonder what the role of the referee is? .....

Tbis is the end of the game as we all know and love it.

The day the game goes to 4 quarters or half an hour for half-time, I'm done.

True enough.

The stupidity reaches the very highest level.

I can only imagine there are hundreds of millions to be made by a chosen few from this Var bollocks.

Last night highlighted why this system is a farce. I believe the World Cup will be decided on this nonsense much to the detriment of the game.

There was no clear mistake by the ref to justify using it.

It should be down to the Ref to decide if VAR needs to be consulted. Me thinks VAR might not last long...

It will be binned once it fucks up a World Cup and some players only ever chance of ever winning it.

It's shown up as France get a VAR penalty against Australia.

I called that one wrong, didn't think it was a penalty, still not convinced.

In what way stupid? Individuals? The team? Tactics? Can't say I'm expecting anything from England, we are decidedly average, no game changers.

In every World Cup I can remember through the decades the one key reason England fail to do well is they lack COLLECTIVE THINKING.

As did the Aussies today.

Spain on the other hand seem to have a natural togethness which helps them move collectively off one pass and be in positions for the next pass before its made.

Wolves were excellent at that under Nuno, Afobe wasn't so he's gone.

I wonder if the money spent on developing and implementing VAR could be diverted into sorting clubs like Bolton out?

I think a few disgruntled fans need to be given directions to Stockley Bridge.

That Neil Swarbrick the VAR bloke still don't get it. Dozy and as out of touch as they come. Jobsworth in play.

Did our centre forward use VAR to gain a penalty against Burnley, and will he be doing it again?

I hope so.

I'm aware of 4 occasions when VAR has been used at Wolves matches this season.

1. Boly handball - goal given by referee and then wiped off by VAR

2. Neves goal - goal given by ref and could have been taken away from us by VAR if anything seen

3. Man U penalty - given by ref so VAR could have wiped it in our favour but didn't

4. Our pen against Burnley - given by ref so VAR could have wiped it against us

When will we get one which gives us a chance of gaining something?
