Passed away. Great player and a very meek and humble man.

Player, manager, pundit and gentleman.
A man held in high regard.

I have a memory of Jimmy Armfield being knocked into the old Molineux Street stand by a Wolves player and sprawling across the front row of seats. He just got up and got on with it - different days.

RIP Jimmy.

I always remember him from BBC Radio 5 commentaries, and when McGinlay and those Bolton tossers beat us is in the Playoffs, he said that Wolves would be promoted one day!

I viewed him as the perfect role model and ambassador for the English game, RIP Jimmy.
