Swan has been praised on here, so I imagine we'll be looking to give him a deal. Sako obviously I would like to see a deal, Iorfa we have an option but he looks like a player so fix something up second half of this season imo. Ismail we probably have an option, in which case we don't have to do anything. I would be inclined to keep him and Cassidy and loan them out again, as I don't think we lose much and they might still come good. Ricketts I don't know what is going on there. Like to see him stay for another year maybe. We have a lot of decent young central defenders though. Maybe Sam is on his way, especially as he doesn't seem to be getting a game at the moment.

Is there room for Sam? He's getting a bit old for a full back; if we gave him another contract wouldn't it have to be as a central defender? We might be looking to strengthen that area if we go up as well.

He's 33 isn't he? I'd imagine he's going at the end of the season

It seems from the reports from when we signed Mehki Leacock-McLeod that he is probably on a two-year contract, so I have added him.

I've just been looking at the posts round about the signing of Ortega, and there's a quote from comptonstars saying the Spaniard is on a two year deal and we have an option. I've googled and can't confirm it, so I've moved Ortega from "unknown duration" and made him 2016 (+ 1 yr option) but with a question mark after it.

Added Wilson but put him in "Unknown duration" as I can't see any mention of contract length.

Hause; was 2016, is now 2018. No mention of an option, just a straight three and a half years.

This made me laugh ... the paper is a joke as it is here in Wales and now this clown of a journalist thinks he will leave Wolves for Cardiff, can't see that happening.

Tim Nash reporting Swan and Hunte (almost a shipyard) both have contracts which expire at the end of this season. We had Swan down as January, but apparently this was incorrect. Both now on the list as 2015.

Picked this up off the BBC, but don't know who he is or whether or not he had a contract: -

18:27 - Ben Priest [Wolves - Dundee] Free

You've probably seen it in the other thread by now, Moscow, but Ben's eighteen and was in his second year at the academy. This has been terminated by mutual consent and he has moved to the Dundee development squad. Central defender.

Wolves youngster Jordan Allan has spoken of his start to life in the Black Country after his move from Airdrie, following unsuccessful switches to Liverpool and Fulham.

The 16-year-old, who is tipped to have a very bright future, has been very complimentary of the way the club has looked after him since his arrival in the summer.

He has signed a two-year professional contract which will begin when his scholarship is completed in 2016.

Put Burgoyne, Hayden and Matinyadze up, although I had to put the last two as "unknown duration".

The OS have given more details, so I've updated the OP again.

Sako and Doyle are two of 13 players out of contract, along with club captain Sam Ricketts, Tomasz Kuszczak, Leon Clarke and Zeli Ismail, plus youngsters George Swan, Jim Kellerman, Albert Torras, Jordi Ortega, Carlo Erdei, Ibrahim Keita and Connor Hunte.

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/04/23/kenny-jackett-after-more-quality-for-wolves/

We agree on all of those except Zeli and Jordi, and Torras, Erdei and Hunte which we have as "Unknown". The E&S have missed Cassidy off, and I don't know why. Jake's contract is up, but maybe they've heard that we shall be taking up the year option. Scott Dutton also is missing, and I think he still is here at Wolves and would expect his contract to be up, although again we have him down as "Unknown".

We had Zeli Ismail down as contract ending this season, until I edited it when there was a piece on the OS which said 2016. Maybe it was an error on the OS. Jordi Ortega was down as 2016 but with a question mark, because I had heard it somewhere unofficial.

I'm going to leave Ismail as 2016, although the E&S might well be right. I'll edit the others to match the E&S though.

Edit: Dutton was released a day or two later, and is no longer in our list.

It also feels annoying as that's 4 players we have wasted our time in. Hope this doesn't come back to bite us and wish them well

Be fair ... not ALL signings work out, and you have to make space for new arrival replacements. Sometimes you release someone who goes on to make it big ... but most don't ... most find their (lower) level.

It ain't 'wasted time' if some of them turn out to be stars of the future. You're never gonna win 'em all!

If you look at any club there are those who move on, and find their level, not many make it through to the first team from any one intake.

It's not wasted time, it's just the way it is.

I'm fairly sure the E&S were wrong about Ortega. They said his contract was up this year, but I think it's 2016 with a year option.

Moved Ortega to 2016 + 1 and removed Torras, Erdei and Keita.
