So we'll be at full strength when all the top teams will be without their best players.

I haven't heard a Mali squad yet. We might lose Nouha. It's an international break anyway though, of course.

Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause are in the England U21 squad for the first time. Games are against USA and Norway next month.

Sam Philips is in the Wales U17 squad playing Greece today. Kick off 3.00 in Bangor. Also, a reminder that England U17 have 3 matches in the Midlands over the next few days. The first is against Italy tomorrow at the New Bucks Head, Telford. Niall Ennis is in the squad.

http://www.saddlers.co.uk/news/article/england-u17-turkey-u17-2609990.aspx

It's just £3 in. 7.00 kick-off.

Wales lost 0-1. I'm not sure yet whether Sam played. The two countries meet again Thursday.

Final reminder for tonight's game in Telford. Should be interesting even if Niall doesn't get on, and he was getting some games with this age group before they all moved up. Big scorer for our U18s last season as a schoolboy. Should get a few U21 games this season. Made his debut at U21 level off the bench back in April.

CHANCE: @jadenlively races down the left and crosses for @niall_ennis10, but the Wolves youngster's header is narrowly wide after 2 minutes

CHANCE The U17s almost double their advantage as @niall_ennis10 powers past two and clear but he's denied by the bakctracking Bastoni. 1-0

Finished 3-0. I think Niall got the whole 80 minutes (two halves of 40).

Wolves have a lot of prospects right from Under-16 level to relatively inexperienced senior squad members, we just have to be patient and trust the management will help them fulfill their potential.

I really think Wolves are at last on the right path. It won't be easy, and there will be disappointments along the way, but it will be worth the time and patience.

Tomorrow then: 7pm, England U17 v Turkey, Banks's Stadium, Walsall FC

They might want to have a look at other strikers, or they might just start with Niall again. Should be interesting anyway.

England U17 got trounced 3-7 by Portugal in the final game. On the plus side, Niall scored his first goal for England, which made us 3-2 up, so it must have been an awful collapse.

Niall got about 70 mins of the game.

Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBSoneNKinY

Think our lad has done enough to keep himself in the squad.

That's some step up I should think. How many other youngsters were doing that today - if you know of course?
