As Lambert battles to add his name to the list of Wolves manager incapable of finishing ahead of McCarthy

I predict Wolves 0 - 0 Preston.

Just to rub the home fans faces in it.

Just remembered we'd kicked off, and WTF is going on?

Our club is an absolute mess, on the pitch, and off the pitch, our owners need to pull their fingers out, BIG style, to cure the club of the disease that is running right through it, from top to bottom.

Drastic measures required in the Summer, drastic.

Helder Costa, thank you for your efforts, you saved us from relegation. Good luck at your new club.

I might wait behind, until the players do their lap of honour against Preston, or whatever bollocks they call it these days, and give them a red faced "YOU'RE AN EMBRRASSEMENT !" in a Sheffield United stylee.

Is it too late to buy a place at the end of season dinner?

Where does Thelwell live?

Thank god I was busy cutting and feeding my son's lawns and didn't switch on till 6.30pm. Predictable result and performance. Listened to Lambert's post-match interview. He said the sending off was a shambles (Cavaleiro looks like he's got his move judging by Lambert's reaction) but also said trust him things are gonna be much changed and better next season. So, Embers, stop moaning and be more positive like me.

All first-team trainers and coaches - OUT. 12 of the squad -OUT. Thelwell - Taxi for. OUT.

Now that's positive ain't it mate. :D

In some of our best days which turned into our worst nightmare, Dave Jones was said to have told half the team they would be out after our inevitable promotion. Those told stopped playing, the rest is history. I just wonder if half of this lot are aware of their future ?

The Jones story sounds a total myth.

Muscat was the only plank more interesting in the following season than promotion. The run-in was ruined because Kennedy got badly injured and he has setting up the majority of our goals, then we had a tougher run-in than them lot and them lot produced an incredible run of wins.

The Jones briefing was widely quoted within the club. I certainly wasn't there, but many folk close to the flame believed it.

Well I hope Forest go down so Wolves can sign their best 3 players, likewise I hope Fulham win the play offs so Kevin McDonald can play Premier league football.

Would rather Sheffield Wed went up, the PL doesn't need another silent stadium. McDonald already played in the PL for Burnley.

It's got so bad I couldn't be bothered to listen to the comm yesterday. I predicted a 3-1 defeat and couldn't face the confirmation of it.

Anyhow, there's next season to look forward to. 8)

I seem to remember a late goal by Kevin McDonald against Man City which was huge for their season.

I remember him leaving the stadium at half time in a game v Man City to go to the pub!

The platform opposite was jam packed with Forest as I got off the tube for my Saturday game, dressed up in my Wolves shorts and socks it was an interesting experience. Don't think they were expecting Wolves in West London.

Would take Osborn and Brereton, although not sure if the first would block MGW and Ronan or if Brereton has enough experience. Assombolonga is too injury prone. Not sure if they have any good defenders.
