Saturday 20th October 2018 with a 3 o clock kick off, enjoy one when you can.

Big and uncompromising, its these games you grin and bear it because they test you mentally.

Forecast 1-1.

But who knows if Wolves look after the ball it could be anything.

Not sure if I can make it.... (Got a concert in the evening in Stratford... Will I make it back in time??)

A potentially quite ugly game. These are the sort of teams we HAVE to be beating (or at least not losing to) if we are to be genuine contenders for a spot in the top 10.

Always positive, but will be nervous re this one....

Very athletic opposition, not as slow and bumbling as the last few opponents. It will need a stronger performance than last time out to take the points.

Lee Mason is the ref...unless someone can arrange summat to happen beforehand. If not then there'll probably be a penalty awarded against us...or a sending off and possibly both. :(

Two clubs currently heading the opposite direction. We've had a decent amount of players leave for international duty. Could be a little leggy. But Watford have done really poor recently. Think we can pull out the win.

Agreed, very physical and powerful side Watford with a bit of guile from Hughes, should be interesting how we cope with it

Hopefully he has had sufficient time with the players. International duty has seen many of our squad travelling here, there and everywhere. Watford with far fewer call-ups.

We can't complain! It is the consequence of having better players!

We have to accept the challenge & embrace it - or go back to having a squad of players that no-one else wants!!

I think its one of those games where we have to have brains to the Watford brawn.

The matador to the bull.

They may be athletic and powerful being well able to get around the pitch, but we have to make them chase and tire.

So by looking after the ball through the first half by taking it through our lines of play then bringing it back again , so be it.
Make them work, back and forth, side to side, make them tire, wait for them to become disillusioned, then be clinical and seize the moment.

Its certainly a different game than yesteryear when you went for their throat full throttle.

Our players return to a well drilled and understood system. Huge difference.

Turning out as I feared unfortunately.

Their athleticism in midfield and attack has overwhelmed us - the effects of the international travel seems to have sapped the energy from our legs.

For the first 20 minutes we treated the ball like a hot potato. The next 25 minutes we haven't had a kick.

I just hope Neves doesn't pick up a 2nd yellow. He and Moutinho have been left so exposed by the mismatch in systems.

2nd half a better effort with a couple of fresher players on for those who had done too much in the past fortnight. Our wasteful finishing means never gave us a platform for the comeback though.
