Daft, so good but Traore and Vinagre gift them goals.

Didn't think we would get more than a draw, and was hoping we could just get an away goal - tremendous performance all round - would be great to get to the next stage and really start to show the world what we have.

Phew, what a game.

It seems churlish to complain about winning away with 3 away goals in the bank, but we really did gift them those 2 goals. At the end I was fearing a Watford scenario. As at Wembley, I don't think Nuno's subs paid off very much.

Traore made the mistake for their first but he was our only midfielder to move the ball up the pitch and they were shit scared of him. Neither Neto nor Cutrone made any contribution at all really.

I thought Neves would have come on to help steady things in the midfield but we ended the game rather clinging on and exhausted. Their penalty was pretty generous and lucky it even went in. By the end of the match the ref was handing out cards like confetti so at least we avoided a suspension.

PS UEFA, your draw procedure is a total farce to lead to this being a qualifying match. This was a quarter final standard match for the competition.

I'd have taken that result before the game, but I don't think we're anywhere near the heights of last season yet. I can't remember us being so sloppy in possession under Nuno.

Luckily, Italian football is quite poor nowadays and Torino are a distinctly average outfit meaning we should have few worries about the return leg. But we must improve if we want to have a serious tilt at this competition.

Boy, I hate that Belotti. He`s like a wasp. I think we will beat them comfortably back at the Mol. I thought Boly was our best player and Dendonker was our weakest over the 90 minutes.

Yes, Boly is without doubt our one performer who is already up to lat season's standards and actually getting ever better. Dendoncker was the player Wolves needed to upgrade this summer to really jump forward.

Apart from the last quarter we managed to smother most of their intentions and kept them on a tight leash.

The ties not over, give them space in and around the final third and they can hurt you.

Good victory for Wolves, performance wise it was about winning the big moments.

Coady and Boly the pick of the night.

I thought Traore was the difference again, and he's playing with more intelligence now. Raul worked hard and is a wily character, although the defending for his goal was a joke!

I think Vinagre wil learn, he's just dead keen to impress right now. The first goal showed inexperience in making sure you're ahead of the runner coming in at the back, or block him, and the second one he just needed to shadow the Torino player away from the goal, and not kick out. He'll learn.

Not sure what to make of Torino, we were trying to think of an EPL equivalent, Palace? Watford?

Overall, an entertaining game, and who would have dreamt of not 1, not 2, but THREE away goals! Looking forward to the return leg, but in the meantime will we be 'ready' for Burnley on Sunday? Following their Europa League travails before, they'll head to Molineux sensing an opportunity...

I am happy with that result. A couple of soft goals conceeded, mind. Do our away goals still count if they beat us by a goal at home or has away goals been scrapped?

Sent from my coffee table in the lounge room using the laptop with a coffee on standby.

Know nothing about football compared to you guys but I’m pleased that there a few signs that my prediction about Traore coming good this season might just turn out to be right. The potential is there and he is capable of doing damage. Hope he can get a run of form going now after 2 good performances. Appreciate learning the defensive side will take a while.
