Three goals in five games. Villa above us now.

No surprise, better squad, much better manager. Villa will be easily top 6 now they've ditched the depression of Di Matteo.

Another bad Saturday and the beer will not taste good tonight now.

A no-brainer of a decision to hire Bruce at this level.

Alas Mendes isn't his agent.

With a Chinese PPV deal in place the board may be forced to act.

Today won't have been shown, those PPVs are just the Sky games. A real battle of the bosses next though.. Owen Coyle vs Walter Zenga... who will get their pay off first!?

1 point out of 15. Walter must be under pressure.

All these foreign imports. How many impress you? Not many impress me I must admit. I like Walter and I really want him to come good. But it's looking unlikely. We just don't look like a decent Championship team. It hurts me to say that.

Problem is - if Walter is given the bum's rush which manager worth his salt is gonna come here on the premise that Mendez will recruit the players for you and you will have no say in the matter? That situation has simply got to change. Send at least 9 of the 13 imports back where they came from and let a proven manager recruit their own.

I watched some of the Bristol City v Blackburn Live game today and thought that the latter were unlucky to lose. However, I don't see Owen Coyle as anything but a League 2 manager.

Think Zenga will be gone soon and Marco Silva in. I like Walt but looking likely he's toast.

Rumours AVB is taking over Wolfsburg , or is it Wolves ?

Considering that I missed most of the first half commentary thanks to technical problems (again) with Wolves Player, from what I did hear, didn't include very much of Big Dadi attacking their lines, more of him getting clattered more often that not.

We appeared to create enough chances, but not clinical enough perhaps. I await the JGB reports albeit, I expect more doom and gloom in printed form.

Deano, where did the 'bums rush' come from? I have this image of a homosexual flash sale.

Yes, it was an own goal. We all saw the same thing in our discussions on the train but the E&S gave it to Roofe. It was a most ridiculous o.g. you could imagine - as if he'e been paid to do it (but not at all suggesting that he was!). He stuck his foot out and directed it towards the goal when he could have hoofed it away for a throw. Mind you, Hause's error which led to it was a horror show.  :gib:

Roofe admits that it wasn't his goal:

This is correct. Big Dadi had a poor game but it might have been because he was clattered so much as you suggest. We had three good chances which should have been put away and Leeds offered one good chance causing a great save from Ikeme. The goal was a catalogue of errors.
