Interesting team selection likely from Nuno this weekend against Derby.

Does he just make the one change with Ivan Cavaleiro coming in for Bright or does he change the make up of the strike force?

Also the bench should be educational, does the non technical midfield runner find himself excluded.

Cavaleiro carries more of a goal/assist threat than Bright. It's the only change I'd make.

Why tinker too much with something that isn't broken?

Dicko and Cav in for Leo and Bright
Maybe Price added to the Bench

Just Cav in for Bright for me and Bright to come on with 20 minutes to go to keep in touch. 8)

Looking forward to this - I think derby will do well this season, midfield looks good and they've got superior fire power - a point wouldn't be bad at all

I'd start with cavaleiro for his added goal threat - counter attack might be where we eek out our best chances

Tim Spiers is full of shit.

He talks about how Chris Martin is a physical player, and that Willy Boly might be replaced by Batth or Bennett. "Boly had a poor debut" apparently.

I know who I'd choose for the duel against CM.

I confused surely Spiers was suggesting Miranda was going to be replaced not Boly?

I think that's what we will go with as well, Cav had a good pre-season and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do under Nuno with a season in England under his belt. Bright looks to have bags of talent but just needs to apply it in first team games, he has 4 goals against lower league opposition but I think he is a confidence player and needs to believe he is worthy of a first team spot, if he could get a goal I'd love to see how much of a boost that gives him

We agree on something! The guy knows less than my left nut about football, he hates foreigners, loves Lambert and it comes across in his reporting of Wolves, I can't stand the guy

You're right, Britney mentions Miranda not Boly. I'm hearing things because I could have sworn it was the latter.

I don't think he's a fan of either player tbh.

He gave Boly 6/10 in his post match ratings vs. Middlesbrough, and had a little dig at Miranda for picking up a yellow in the same game.

0 goals conceded in the last 4 games Tim.

What more can they do?

Well if rumours are true he hasn't made the squad for todays game. Nuno has perhaps seen enough.

I doubt that NES was impressed with the apparent annoyance of said player when substituted on Tuesday. As one of the 'captains', he would be expected to display absolute loyalty to and faith in the decisions of the manager (sorry - coach!).

Didn't see what happened, but not what was expected. Does he know writing is on the wall.... Fish out of water...? Square peg in round hole...?

Good, I'm glad Nuno is showing that he's boss. The pussy-footing around by Lollbakken led to his own downfall and the disintegration of the squad. Dave's time is probably up and he should show it with good grace leaving with dignity.

Moi aussi.

We don't have a good record against Derby, normally they hammer us, so will be interesting today.

Apparently Blouse and Cardiff have put bids in for him so perhaps I was a bit harsh in writing the above.

I can see us being brought back to reality with a massive bang by 5pm tonight! Sorry to be a pessimist, we did look good at Boro but scoring is a concern and I remember how good we looked against Reading last season!

I agree with the above.
I don't see Dave's game being compatible with the new revolution.
I didn't see the 'incident' so won't comment on it.
I'd like to see him go to his home town club.Maybe the owners could recognise the service
he has given the club and facilitate the move.
Wherever he goes he would be a great signing.
Any suggestions for the next scapegoat ?

He came to my mind as well but he's been fine whilst being played in the back four/three in my opinion. I really don't want us to sell him - and what's more he seems to be a good team captain.

It's easy using Tapatalk on your mobile or tablet.

Size is an issue because you can't tell using the app. Be careful, you'll face the wrath of Moscow & Knocker.
