In what should be another highly entertaining encounter to be enjoyed by all, will Wolves once again walk away with the spoils.

Maybe we can relax a little more this season knowing we are set up well with a far more consistent approach to team selection.

Come on the Wolves.

Same team?

Yes, start with the same team for me but as it is two games a week for a while now, what will Nuno do..?? I am going to the game, staying overnight in Hull before getting the train home at 11-00 Wednesday morning. Fingers crossed for a good performance and a point or three..

Oh how times have changed! Matchday stickies the day before a game!!!

Safe trip Gladbach, hope you get rewarded. I'll be happy with a draw, but of course I would happily accept a thumping 0-3 win!

You have KK to thank for that. I've always tried to do them on the day of the game but KK appears to be going for the pre-emptive strike now.

Well I like to blame him for everything but I understand the excitement.

Will there be any changes? We saw some for the cup match. I imagine we will see at least 2-3 changes from Saturday.

We need to keep our strongest XI on the park for a tough test like this. No changes required.

It's that Tuesday away game up north that all the experts think we won't be able to handle, it's litmus test time

Slutsky is a top manager, not sure what he is doing at this level. Hull look like a wildcard for this season, still some talent there. We should be good enough for a result of some sort.

Nice ground and impeccable pitch, probably more concerned with a kick em team in January myself.

Great name as well - away fans ought to have some fun with that

Well Sheffield Utd in September or Leeds in March are the only other ones that could test the theory, not exactly Siberian weather that time of year.

Its more superstition than anything, as I started the Derby match thread best to keep it going I thought until Wolves are defeated.

One things for sure there seems more excitement in the air with Wolves fans actually looking forward to games once more.

Could Hull beat us of course they can, the run of the ball can go their way.

But lets all be positive for another Wolves performance that brings us glory.

Come on the Wolves, lets get at them.

This new eagerness for games, news and posts is causing me all kinds of problems. I rarely know which day it is here on the Smallholding and rarely care, but as the saying goes, ''No Fool like an Old Fool''.

I kept telling everyone (I have two Spanish guests) that I needed to be in by 9.30pm (local time) as my team is playing tonight. I went onto our official site, signed up for the live coverage; went to Twitter to see the team sheets so that I could come back here and make my prediction......

Went back to the Wolves TV and wasted 5 minutes trying to find the stream and then fired off an angry email to Tech support before I realised it was only MONDAY.

Still, I did manage to watch Game of Thrones instead.

Tonight, we're invited out for Lamb Stew and whatnot so I best not drink too much or my £Fiver will be wasted albeit, I'm given the option of the full 90 minutes recorded version should my plans go to rat poo.

Go out and have a good time (get pissed if need be) then watch the full 90 minutes when sober.

I was really looking forward to the Fulham last year, wasn't disappointed either. If we can play as well tonight we should get win as we did then.

Zenga's games were always entertaining too, in a staring at a car crash sort of way.

Any points from tonight's game and we will rightly be regarded as the team to beat this year.

Win tonight, and I'll let myself get excited about the P word. Yes it will only be 3 league games in, but still. I think the difference between this years positive start, and last years positive start, is this year our performances have matched the results and the hype.

Having said this, I'd bite your arm off for a point tonight.

Greetings from Hull, lovely hot day in the sun here so far. Have only seen two other Wolves fans walking around the city like me..reckon most are on coaches. Fingers crossed that we do well, so I'd be happy with a point myself. Off soon to walk to the stadium and have a pre game pint at the away bar. Come on me Babbies..

Just don't go ''trawling'' around the Hull hotspots as you might catch something requiring Penicillin and/or end up battered. I can see that you're really enjoying your retirement. Perhaps you should change your nick to ''Alan Whicker Wolf''.

Already trawled them, Moscow, nothing to thrill as yet...my hotel bar is open until 01-00 a.m. so let's see if I am celebrating or drowning my sorrows....heh heh...

And a very wet Wednesday morning from Devonport, Tasmania lads. Pouring outside and there have been a few storms so I hop I don't lose my connection. Happy with a point tonight but hoping for three.
