0-0 and either side has had the chance to be 2 or 3 goals up.

Were muffing our opportunities up front. I can't fault how we are getting into the right positions before goal but we are really missing that striker with the killer instinct.

We play football better - but Brentford are getting their opportunities and its worrying how often they lock us into our third.

Not much improvement compared to the Cardiff game.

Listening to it, we've had a couple of good breakaway opportunities, but we badly need a decent striker. Second half, and we need to lift our game, or I can see Brentford going ahead.

We'll know a lot more about our prospects come the end of Thursday and the transfer window's close. I really hope it's a matter of a chain reaction of moves around Mendes' clubs and we've already got some quality lined up, and that's why it has dragged on so long.

I cannot believe that Nuno can be satisfied with one loanee from the Saudi league being our only striking recruitment.

Do we need any more evidence that a striker is needed?
This whole match has demonstrated how big the need is.

This club has needed a striker for 18 months. Last summer Fosun brought in Paul Gladon and Bodvarrson :x

I can't believe the window will close without a new striker and also a backup midfielder. Going to severely hinder us if we wait till January.

When a draw feels like a loss.

A great point for Brentford, but tbf they probably consider that points dropped as well.

We allowed ourselves to be tied back too often and when we attacked we couldn't make it count. We actually hit both sides of the net. Some of our missed opportunities were really unforgivable. Some of theirs too.

Need a gun striker in fast. Open the wallet Fosun.

Not sharp enough today, but still a point, and great passion from Nuno

I agree 100%. If so I hope our backup midfielder is the Paul Ince type - only used to the passing game. Do good against the more physical sides.

Edwards leaving certainly leaves the way for a midfielder now. But yeah I guess a striker is a must. We won't go up without the sort of striker who is fighting it out for top scorer.

Also guilty of a very half arsed attempt at that cross that could easily have been a winner.

Did we really turn down 3 million?

Two weeks to sort things out before we play Millwall who just beat the Canaries 4-0.

Need a midfielder with a bit of 'snot' who can dominate. Need two strikers, Dicko will be off I think.

Also vitally important is the return of Costa and Marshall.

We are ok for defenders. Jota, Costa, Cavaleiro are more than good enough to get around the back of opposition defenders but we need a new strikeforce capable of 40 goals between them. This is the difference between top two or failing to make the play-offs.

Neves has had two moderate games but he will come good. Really good.

That game was crying out for a Dave Edwards type player.

10 points from 15 + another clean sheet away from home.

Happy with that tbh.
