Bonatini replaced by N'Diaye.

Not a great performance, especially in the first half, but we got the 3 points.

When is Douglas back, and how is Vinagre's injury?

After 7.5 minutes added time ffs! Just about getting my heartrate down to semi normal, next step is trying to pick myself up off the floor.

Jota seemed to have a problem at the end and Bonatini hurt himself when we scored the second as well.

Thank you Wolves for giving me the wherewithal to rip the piss out of a former Forest colleague. Football misery and its associated tomfuckery is consistently cyclical ay it.

Back in a better bar.....Yahooooo

Had a very dodgy time there in the seventies, just love it when we beat them.

Teams that escape this very tough league have to play well, but also need to win ugly.

The "glow" is returning to the fair town

Well, I managed to watch about 80 ish minutes of that as my Internet went down, I had to reboot my Puter and Wolves TV also went on the blink leading up to half-time.

I thought that we were wasteful first half, but I give credit to Forest for trying to play football instead of kicking lumps out of us. I thought Cav was poor today and we just couldn't seem to find that final telling pass.

Second half, we looked a little better, I missed the goal and there are no instant replays on Wolves TV. I thought that their equaliser was sublime and completely caught out our defence and keeper.

The second for us looked a maze, but it went in. If we have Jota and Costa firing on all cylinders then, this side will be unstoppable in attack this season. I am also loving the new confidence and Portuguese-esk style of Doherty - who does he think he is, Gareth Bale!

I don't think any of our lads had a particularly bad game albeit, I thought Cav was poor and the substitution was a foregone conclusion in my book. Would have been fantastic end to the game if Jota could have converted that run on the counter attack. I'm not a great Danny Batth fan, but I thought he held his own today as did Coady.

Onwards and Upwards I say.

With apologies to David Bowie this came to light at The City Ground today.

There's a Starman playing on the right,
His name's Diogo Jota,
And he's f*****g dynamite...

Jota and Costa look like the two who will pop up with goals and assists even when we aren't firing, invaluable.

That tackle on Bonatini just before our second goal looked really bad - did the ref go for yellow instead of red because he played advantage and we scored?

It looked an awful last ditch upending tackle, but the REF was right to allow play to go on. However, had we not scored then, he would have at least awarded a Yellow for that, I think it a delicate decision for a straight red as a). he wasn't the last man and b) Bonatini didn't roll around enough for long enough. Funny old game innit.

Don't wish to sound like a Meldrew, but so glad that we got back on to the footballing aspects of the game instead of discussing chants from the punters on the terraces - just me, ignore.

cracking report on Wolves glorious last minute winner v Forest about 5 minutes in!

Sounds like the Wolves of old - completely outplayed throughout. Miserable.

The NEW Wolves are and will be a different animal.....!!

Great to see the divisions of clubs - some 'the mighty have fallen' and others have risen from 'nowhere'. Football - as Life - is cyclical. Enjoy while you're up, cos people will take the p*** when you're heading down....
