Tonight Wolves welcome the Gas in what could prove to be an eventful encounter.

Not the most disciplined of sides Bristol Rovers are also massively inconsistent. Capable of beating Fulham in the previous round so Wolves have to be ultra professional.

Previously managed by former Wolfs back in the day, Mark McGhee, John Ward and the bloke who couldn't trap a bag of cement Bobby Gould.

You lucky people.

Wolves side tonight, all the ones who have been very patient and need a run out.

However, KK, what do reckon to the result? I'm never over confident in these games especially when we are not the underdog. It could go either way in my opinion and why it is so hard to become a Prediction League winner albeit, if Cally keeps awarding me an extra 9 points per game then, I should be in with a decent shout come Christmas.

Danish youth international only recently signed for us, Bennett is injured but good to see Gibbs-White, Douglas and Hause all on the bench. Team looks a bit thrown together, lets hope we can negotiate this banana skin so I can dream of Wembley...Spurs away next round

When did we acquire him, IFM? I can't find a thing out about him on the net.

So happy to see Morgan Gibbs-White back on the bench. He could really shine under Nuno's style.

Only a few weeks ago as per Shrops Twitter link, not sure if you are on Twitter but there is an excellent twitter account called Wolves Academy (not the official one) who gives great updates on players coming and going and coverage of all the U-23 and U-18 games

Cav coming on for Zyro and Ronan for Marshall.

Very flat performance so far.

Bristol on top, Wolves offering nothing in the 2nd half.

Really impotent team, this one, no goal threats so far.

Straight away Bristol strike the bar. Nuno extremely peeved.

Bristol down to 10 after Wilson was dragged back when in.

Very stuttering game from us, Bristol were the better side all game. They hit the woodwork twice and Norris made three good saves. Glad to have progressed. Missed my train back to Stafford thanks to extra time....had to get the last one at 22-48....phew.

There's a lot for the coach to ponder as he thinks back on last nights game because what looked fine on paper didn't deliver on the field.

We know the keeper is solid and will push hard for a first team starting place and the back three know their roles.

But what of the four in front and the three in front of them.

What puzzles me is that Bright is more of a favourite than Ronan when it comes to the constructive part of the team.

I thought Ronan would kick on and be a vital part of the first team squad while Bright would fade away.

It just goes to show a scratch side no matter how talented will usually struggle when faced with a football team in opposition.

Would have liked to see Ronan play more, Bright is a show pony for me.
