Another treat in store as Barnsley come to Molineux this Saturday and lets face it we owe them bigtime after that embarrassment last season.
As a small club in the league they have lost many of their star players but are rebuilding wisely with young and talented new signings.
Quite a few I would have wanted at our place if we hadn't gone the Mendes and Nuno route.
In Paul Heckingbottom Barnsley have one of the brightest young managers in the game and we welcome the Tykes with enthusiasm.
Could be another cracker as Wolves chase top position in the league.

Another must-win home game before a tough away trip. Time for Wolves to start winning consistently, match after match, to show their credentials.

I seem to remember Simpson as having had a poor game on one occasion that he reffed in a fixture of ours. His name is familiar and I'm sure it isn't for a good reason.

Sent off Coady in a home match v Brighton and gave them a penalty (saved) a few years ago. I can't recall any of his other games with us having any controversy though. Reffed us at Hull last month.

I'll miss this weeks game as I'm farming my son off to Uni. We certainly do owe them one KK, let's hope we can continue our good form, there is no reason why we shouldn't.
At the risk of sounding cocky, it is a game we should win.

Yeah, it felt an eternity, but to be fair Hernandez being stretchered off took almost 4 minutes (out of the season isn't he?).

He also gave Hull a soft penalty at the death.

At the risk of sounding cocky, it is a game we should win. "it is a game we will win" is cocky, "it is a game we should win" is tentative!

I'm just happy no matter the result that we are getting entertained each and every game because the coach has a well thought out plan.
Then has transferred those thoughts into the the players heads during training ground work.
We make the pitch big, we switch the ball effectively to both sides and we have passing targets all around the ball. Which then gives us opportunities to get forward within each match if we use collective intelligence.
Isn't that what we have been crying out for for decades?

Billy 'Moneyball' Beane finally made a move into English football and its Barnsley.
Last season loss was a real shocker, first sign there was something badly wrong behind the scenes, Zenga is long gone now though. Can see us running up the score like Villa did.

Let's hope for a win today. I still feel that we find it harder at Molineux than away and we need to really put a home winning run together to banish it. Will Douglas be back today or has Vinaigre shown he is worth his salt and keep the place. Is there a possibility of Costa on the bench - that could liven things up.
Whatever the team, come on Wolves JDI.

Batth with a clumsy tackle but ref doesn't give penalty. Wolves not got started as an attacking threat at all.

Surely Costa is going to get on. If he's ready for the bench, this is the type of game we need his inspiration.
