Back on the road again on a cold Monday December night in Brum, and we hope Jasper is well enough to come and watch our Golden Balls.

What to expect, Blues will mirror our system but will they be clever enough in midfield, clever enough to mark our runners.

Could be a tough fixture, Wolves to ease through by the odd goal.

Oooh Funky Moped.

I saw their game vs the Blades and thought they gave away the ball for fun. Their goal was a screamer out of nothing, but they did still manage to hold out to just 1 goal against - Sheffield Utd had scored 4 in both their previous home games after all.

Their point up there will have really boosted their confidence though, and the derby atmosphere will certainly hype them up - hopefully not leading to too many rash tackles. N'Diaye may well be a better pick than Neves anyway for this situation.

I am a bit worried about this one, my natural pessimism kicking in. Blues are going to be up for this local derby and will be buoyed by their result at Sheffield. I am also concerned that the Wolves fans are beginning to sound complacent on phone ins etc. and this could wind up the opposition. I'm sure Nuno is trying to keep the lads' feet on the ground, let's hope they can remain calm and patient on the night. Maybe they can show Jasper there is some magic roundabout.

Blues are not a "tight" outfit.

They will certainly come on strong at home. However, the pace of our side on the counter will overpower them. It might not be pretty.

Leeds, Bolton, and now Blues..3 horrible clubs and supporters

Since the 14th December 2016 their league record is
Played 43
Won 8
Drawn 10
Lost 25

Put them to the sword Wolves

Some of our fans are getting ahead of themselves a bit, but it doesn't really matter how or what our fans sound like they aren't on the pitch, as long as Nuno and the boys keep their head in the game we should piss this, Blues are utter shit

Yeah, have noticed that on phone ins and such Wolves fans coming over all Mark McGhee.

Stuff which fuels the oppositions support and gives added strength to the opposition team.

We have to get away from that kind of stuff.

I think they will try to thug us but unlike Cardiff it won't work this time. 3-0 Wolves.

Cardiff got their win darn it. Need to smash Brum to keep the pressure on them. Sooner or later they have to stumble, though they probably are saying that about us right now as well. Still think we will cruise past Birmingham three nil.

Watched Lids v Villa, how crap is this division? The football is horrible, just rushed, physical, percentage balls, if we don't win the title then we will have made a right cock up of it

I just watched the Millwall v Sheffield United game.
No way do the Blades look like they are contenders for a top two spot. They look like they are only where they are because of Clarke's form. Millwall looked the better team all match.
I agree with a few other lads here that they are going to get found out as the season progresses and be lucky to finish in the playoffs.

1 point in 9 for Sheff Utd. Every team has a little blip in a season (Wolves will surely have one too). I wouldn't write them off just yet. But great from a Wolves pov.

I would say Derby/Villa will pose a bigger threat over the season to both ours and Cardiffs top 2 hopes.

Boro have the squad but seem far too inconsistent to make a sustained push for the top 2.

They don't have the depth of squad as we do and after they lost a key player recently their form has dipped, but I wouldn't write anyone off at this stage. The gap between top two and 6th place is getting more noticeable, but we just go one game at a time, as usual.

Yeah, you feel Cardiff would have dropped off by now if they were gonna. We need to just keep doing what we're doing. As long as we keep putting the effort in, I'm confident we'll have enough to finish in the top 2.

Friday's and today's results went largely our way. Roll on Monday; it's like having an extra day added to the weekend.

The team that I have taken note of lately, but not yet had a chance to watch, is Bristol City.

They just keep chuggin along like the little engine that could.

If they do continue just plugin away Cardiff will have to keep a look over their shoulder.

I hope we end this month with a seven point break on second and Cardiff more concerned about staying IN the top two over getting to the top of the pile.

Brizzle and Blades meet each other on Friday so a draw would be ideal. As we are fully aware, at least one of them has to lose points.

I agree completely with Nuno, lets just focus on ourselves and our process and then at the end of the season see where it places us.

Not at all bothered by other teams results, in fact hope some of these clubs maintain their challenge.

Better to win a competitive league. Our focus remains the same.

Agree with KK. A competitive league keeps us 'honest'.

A big gap is the catalyst for complacency, a couple of blips, then a sudden panic, and we get nervy & stop playing the free-flowing game....

It's great to have a gap ... But not too large!!

That said, i desperately want 3 points Monday!!

I see David Davis has managed to get himself fit for the game. One who has always played like a man possessed against us since leaving.

Having said that - I HOPE this our big win for the season and this seasons record goal glut.

Love to see us smash them for six or more. Still think it will be 3-0 though.

Feels like a bonus match now.

Its like finding an unopened Christmas present on Boxing Day.

Lots of anticipation.
