Nothing like an easy win to ease tensions and recreate supreme confidence so its off to Brum we go in the Saturday 5.30 kick off.

Forecast for this one, a footballing lesson for the Brummies as the Black country lads show their quality.

Villa 1 Wolves 3.

Mind the Gap.

I think this one will be a lot tougher than the last, but I am predicting a Wolves win to settle the nerves a bit and put a sour face on Cardiff and FUlham supporters.

0-1 to Wolves in a match where a draw would be a fair result.

Villa have a fleet of foot front-line. I think they will score.

We'll still win mind 8)

If we could by a draw at Cardiff and Villa - who wouldn't take them? Get past those 2 with no worse than 2 points and I will rest easy re promotion. Boy do we have some stinkers coming up, and in the full glare of the TV cameras. Going to be fascinating to see how we do vs Villa after the performance at Leeds - will we keep it up, even kick on - anything else doesn't bare mentioning. Hope it doesn't degenerate into the usual derby kick-fest. Hopefully, the smile I have on my face this morning, will still be there come Sunday!

Quite oneself I think both Fulham and Cardiff fans know they are playing for one automatic playoff place and will be delighted with that result.

Villa, Cardiff and boro all away will be tough...five points would be excellent.

Looks like the Villa CEO has gone public over our underhand ways now

The utter cheek of clubs like Leeds and Villa having a go at us over transfer spending! How small time have these 2 clubs become, embarrassing from so called professionals

This article sums everything up for me

Biggest game of The season.....win this and we will be 13 ahead of them and almost over the line. Goals aplenty....a thriller.....3-2 to Wolves.....

I think the Villa game will give us a good idea of where we are.
Leeds were no yardstick, but Villa should be much stiffer opposition.
I would be happy with a draw.

Conceding 2 goals to them would be a major disappointment. No reason for us to lower our standards, we should get a clear victory here if everyone steps up to the match and the situation.

My head is saying 1-1. Villa will be bang up for this, as will their crowd, but I reckon Wednesday night's target practice will have given our lads the taste for it. Hmmmmmm...heart says 1-3.

Keep it tight. Try and snatch a goal and then hit them on the break when they have to push forward, using Afobe and Costa late on. That would be the perfect game plan for me.

We have a poor record at Villa Park, the Jarvis 0-1 is the only refent one I can remember. However, historically they have had a better team than us which I don’t think is true now.

Is Grealish that good? We shall see.

Snodgrass is their main threat, stop him and we should do well

Well, we haven't played them that much in the last 30 years but I can only remember us losing there in the league once - a narrow 2-3 loss in the Dave Jones PL season.

The others have all been draws I think, except for that Jarvis game.

We haven't lost in our last 4 visits to Villa Park, 1 win and 3 draws

He's dangerous, but Grealish is their talisman. Hourihane and Hogan are also a danger, and is Adomah back too?

It promises to be an exciting affair. Will Villa try and press us high to put our pass-from-the-back style under pressure, but leave themselves open on the counter attack? Or, will they play a more direct style?

Grealish is a hair player, I don't think he is as good as he is made out to be, and he is just coming back from an injury as well.

I might regret this at around 7 pm but the few times I've seen Villa on TV they have looked shit and I can't believe they are so high up in the table, Blues should have gone 1 up in the derby game and it was Snodgrass who won that game for them, and Blues are even worse.

Bruce set them up to sit back last time and it backfired horribly. I would not be surprised if he chose to attack and try and pin our full-backs back this time.

I would have preferred to see Afobe instead of Bonatini.

What's with all the scabby beards sported by Villa players. All the barbers on strike in Brum?

A good feisty derby first half. I think we have shown the gap in quality of football played, but Villa players are really trying their best and will chase everything.

I think that the game is ours to lose if we slack off.

Sorry to say, but I don't think that Danny Batth is good enough for this team and is our weakest link - opinions of course and that is mine.

We made it to half time. Quality v Brute force to my mind. We could lose this. Grealish and Snodgass are up for this, we need to deal with this.

Batth has been a clear weak link defensively and can only hoof the ball forward. I hope he's subbed at half time else I fear we may regret it.

Good game, would love to see Afobe and Costa on the counter in the last 20 mins.
