Yes them again.

Watford a team that carries certain characteristics which trouble this Wolves side.

Speed and physicality through centre field.

Do we really want European football at this stage of our evolution, not sure.

Forecast for this one.

Home win.

Watford 2 Wolves nil.

This game is interesting above all for its psychology.

Having to go into the tunnel with the same team who just ripped your world apart less than 3 weeks ago and stand next to those players in that confined space is going to frankly a humiliation for our boys. No doubt the chant "2-0 and you effed it up" will be heard frequently during the match.

All the psychological odds are firmly stacked against us, not even a home crowd to drive them on... and that's before we even mention that Watford are strong side...

Tough afternoon in store. Let's see which Wolves players have the mentality to handle this.

Not overly confident for today. Gracia seems to have our number, but Watford should come out and play which will suit us and our motivation levels should be high following recent results.

1-1

If Europe is there to aim for, we should go for it. It makes us a more attractive proposition for potential incoming transfers. It brings more income and should involve some great nights for us fans. We're a completely different proposition to the likes of Burnley and it's turned out okay for them anyway. If we wait until we're 'ready' it will never happen. Think big!

Some good points there Shrops. I think you're right about the psychology, it's Nuno's job to use that to motivate the players as opposed to inhibiting them. And the players mental strength will be put to the test.

We might find out quite a bit about our current crop today.

Nuno's weakness is tactics and tweaking things in game, Garcia does have our number in that regard.

Wolves win with Raul starring.

Phew, very closely fought half, very similar to the semi-final - including the score at this point.

Jimenez somehow missed a golden chance shortly before when he rather fell into the ball than hit it cleanly and though it beat Foster, their defender could hook it from the line.

It looked then that his low confidence was determining the attack, but then we kept the pressure at a corner up long enough to work the cross and the goal.

After that, those last 4 minutes were admittedly very tense. Watford immediately turned up the pressure and we were somewhat penned in.

We cannot survive 45 minutes of sitting back - let's be positive and go for more goals. Jota is in fine form.

Very good performance I thought. Could even afford to give them a goal. I also thought it was as much a penalty on Jota as Deeny's was in the Semi.

7th now ours to lose.

Get in! Really good display aside from Bennett's bad pass. Psychologically we looked fine all game long. Jota was outstanding (again!).

Everton's draw gives us a very good chance now of 7th.

As expected, Watford tried to kill Jota at the end through spite. I am really not a fan of their attitude.

Delighted to get the win and some small revenge for the semi final. Result against Fulham and I’ll be cheering on City in the final despite others’ reservations as to whether or not we are ready for European football.

European football, not so long after double relegation to League One. The last time we were at that level a fair bit before I was born. What wouldn't be to love about that. I’m already dreaming of a run in the Europa League next year and pushing for the top six. I’d like to see us bring in four or five to add to our squad, with MGW out on loan, Costa moved on and Bennett and Saiss getting less time on the pitch due to better players brought in. Evolution, not revolution and Nuno is the man to make it all happen. Happy days.

A great win, especially as they played que sera sera (were going to Wembley) at half time, just to rub it in.
We showed great character today, they will never be what we were or what we will be again.

They certainly have some nasty pieces who show an ugly side when things are going against them.
Such games require a sreong ref, yesterday saw a wimp in charge. Certain penalty on Jota waved aside.
