Would it have been a good idea to fly out Sunday afternoon and return next Friday?
Combine the fixture with warm weather training and some relaxation.
Forecast. Braga 1 Wolves 2.

I suppose the time spent abroad is about not being off our game by returning to freezing Blighty for the Blades game after a week in warmer climes (though don't think Braga is going to be all that hot).
Any victory by any score other than 1-0 will give us complete control of the group.
I feel that the defeat in the home game needs avenging as Braga did not do enough to deservedly win that one. We were in our stuttering phase of the season but they did a bit of a smash and grab job on us.
Both sides have improved since September so it will be a higher quality match this time around.

Well, I'm off to Portugal for this one. My first ever European game, so hoping for a memorable performance. I think our boys will be up for this one and things do seem to be coming together a bit more now than for our previous meeting. Not sure about the warm weather KK, I'm tekkin me duffle coat.
Braga 1 - 3 Wolves.

Jimenez reminds me of Lewandowski, so prolific but his all-round game is just so good as well.

Really good 1st half again, shame they got that flukey goal like Bournemouth did. Now, the test of whether we can put together two good halves in one match and see the job out.
Besiktas doing neither team any favours.

That was a wonderful display of European football.
Fuck-off Arsenal.

Well it was too much too ask for: two good halves.
Another mess of a second half probably sends us into the non-seeded sides in the draw.

Nothing to offer in attack once Jiminez and Traore were subbed hence couldn`t respond to their fightback. Ultimately a good match on a lousy pitch in horrible conditions.

Tired badly again, looked like we would need that fourth, and just knew after that penalty on Neto not being given they would equalise as soon as they went up the other end. More squad depth and a CB needed in January.
Great to have qualified for the next round.

Jota does pretty much everything right until it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net. That header has to go in and end the game at 4-1.

Really enjoyed the Doherty goal, the timing of the run from deep into that key central attacking position gives us an insight into the imagination Matt takes to the field.
This after previously being frustrated by Traore's poor decision making when he had linked then moved forward of his team mate.
We saw the trade offs we have to accept by having ball playing centre backs rather than on me head son merchants.
Dendoncker positionally as with Saiss can be a liability when the sweeper is not holding their hand.

No mention, on here, of the Brazilian Wallace who was linked with us all summer. He went off but looked poor
