Was very open last season as both sides hardly made a tackle but watched attacking intent.
Are Wolves running on empty.
Will Wolves score?

Comparing the form of the two clubs, there can be only one winner.
It would be very interesting to see what type of game would result if Wolves would ever score the first goal in a football match though.
No Jota or Boly make this one a massive challenge, given Thelwell has seemingly taken his 5,000 dossiers and gone off on holiday. Uncle Jorge, where are you?

Fortunately games (as horse races) are rarely decided on form (or on paper for that matter).
It is time for Southampton bubble to burst, and for Wolves to get out of their bad run. After all, we have spent YEARS watching the reverse happen to OUR team (we host a bottom of table team, having had a great run ourselves... and lose. Let's see the OPPOSITE happen Saturday!)
Am meeting son on Southampton & will be at game. Desperately want a good performance after 4/5 pretty indifferent ones, and for Neves to find shooting boots again.
I travel in hope and expectation!! A Wolves WIN is my prediction!

A tough game today, going on form but this team of ours are capable of anything. If Ings gets injured in the pre match warm up we`ll walk it.

All going with form, the most predictable performances of the day.
I suppose Nuno needs to have patience with Thelwell though. He has only had since September 1st to sign a better defender than Dendoncker and some better attacking back-up than Ashley-Seal, after all. Give him time to finish working through his 6,000 dossiers in the next 13 days.

That`s a fair point. These players have looked tired for a while now, even us lesser beings could see that we needed better back up if not a bigger squad. Plenty of time to have done their homework.

What a comeback - and what a shot in the arm for a month that was starting to look a real mess.
I'm unsure if we really stepped it up or if we just managed to nick a couple of goals without huge momentum behind us and that changed the momentum for both sides.
VAR actually helping us out for once - back to the Championship for that ref, he and the linesmen were total homers all game long.
Let's take this momentum into the transfer market and get some recruits in. These players can't do it all alone. Doherty looks cooked for the campaign. His main impact was on Jimenez's face.

Whatever criticisms we may have they definitely have character and never give up. 17 points from losing positions now - if only we could start scoring first. I felt that Jiminez was playing too much on his own again without Jota in the first half, at least Nuno seemed to pick that up and changed to more of a 5 2 1 2 with Neto behind Jiminez and Traore, it worked a treat.
Oh, and what went wrong with VAR today, they kept giving decisions our way did someone not give them the message?
