No!
That is my carefully considered view following exhaustive analysis of styles of play, player performances and recent record.
This bunch are there for the taking!
(But if Reds start as they did against Red Devils, and we start as we did against Saints, I can see us being 5 down at half time! Yet another great 2nd half comeback...!)

Neither VAR nor our defence will allow Liverpool to lose.

I also feel strangely confident. They have to lose sometime.

Same starting side as Saturday / Sunday for both teams.

Done well but defensively not strong enough to match their attack. Traore needs to release the ball sooner.

Easy street for Liverpool with the usual defensive gift for the opposition to lead.
Both wing-backs have been useless for us. Neither Neves nor Moutinho have the time on the ball to produce any meaningful passes and Traore is more focused on his own tricks and runs to the byline than interlinking with a teammate.
Plenty of effort and running but a bit of a mess, all in all. Van Dijk easily outmuscling Jimenez shows the gap between the two sides.
Bring on Jota and give Doherty a boot up the arse.

Jimenez gets pulled wide too often. Wolves should capitalise on the high line Liverpool keep holding with the pace of Traore and Neto with forward balls instead of the default back and sideways movement they employ mainly to grip my shit . Spawny goal by Henderson which would not have happened had Boly been on. Doherty should have scored or laid on Jimmy but had a 50p head on. We are competing with the best team in the Premier League, we should never forget how far we have come really in three years.

As long as it stays a one goal difference we have a chance.

Amazing stuff from Raul for his goal, needed to take his other chance. Liverpool too good for our defence. So tight around us, a draw would have been welcome.

History will not reflect the performance it will only state the result.
We nearly beat a team that were 1/250 on to win the Premier League in January!. Wolves ay we.

Really good effort second half, we finally came to the party.
Unfortunately the glaring truth is again displayed: With that defence we just won't progress. We just don't allow us to reward ourselves for all our efforts because the opponent can exploit chances we present to them.
One of that defence has got to have the agility, the reading of the game and the fucking bollocks to stop their attackers being able to dance through and convert.
A repeat of the Spurs match.

thought we might have the draw or better there with 15 mins to go - damn. Gave them a damn good game. Didn't deserve to lose, but at least no VAR or injuries.

Gutted. We just showed why a few tweaks to our squad will make us a top-four side. Proud of that performance.

Certainly didn’t look like a team with half the points Liverpool have. Arguably the first team to make the best team in the world rethink their gameplan this season.
For all the doomermongering on here and other forums about our defence I thought Saiss and Dendoncker played well. Coady couldn’t play his normal game given Liverpool’s quality and their high line. That said, I think even with Boly coming back a quality centre back would improve the back line and our options. It would take a lot of money but the likes of Dias would see us challenging the top four.
Still need a right sided backup / challenge to Doherty. Thought he played well but really should have taken the early chance. Maybe he just needs the odd rest to recharge.
If we play like this in the big European games to come there is still a chance of us ending up with silverware this season.

The current team and management staff are simply the best I've seen in my lifetime. I watched the game with my Dad last night, he's 93 and feels the same.

Agreed, suiging, they were excellent last night and left everything on the pitch. Very proud of them for nearly beating the Scousers.
