A loss for Wolves is not important as long as Wolves find themselves in the next round.
Hard to work out the ideal team selection when also looking ahead to the next Premier league game.
Forecast.
Are Wolves poor front runners?
Espanyol 3 Wolves 1.

Obviously depends on the starting eleven but keep it tight to HT and rest one or two for Sunday at Spurs. Small loss methinks.

Rangers did something we couldn't and beat Braga to reach the last 16.
Damage limitation against Espanyol who lost at the weekend, keep it tight, get through with no injuries

Too difficult to offer predictions when it's unclear what intent Espanyol still have with the tie and whether we are going to play a weakened side and "do a job" or try and win the match.
Main thing: Stay away from the Italian referee and come back healthy.

Another interesting fixture Celtic v Copenhagen (1-1) If we get through, another potential next round opposition Celtic or Solbakken..lol
Who would you want..?

The Copenhagen restaurant scene is so hot right now.
Tough one as in how weak does Nuno dare go?

I don't think he 'will go weak', but would be surprised if there wasn't SOME resting.
Personally I would bring in Killman and move Saiss into MF alongside Neves and - as he always does - keep it tight for 45 minutes. Rest the front guys too - although it was painfully obvious v Norwich that as soon as Jimenez goes off, the ball just is NOT held further up the park and we get put under pressure.
That said, I think he will use Neto & Podence up front and possibly play 5 in the middle (perhaps MGW behind the front two?) So for me it is: Ruddy Boly Coady Kilman Doc Neves Saiss Vinagre MGW Podence Neto
And if all going well enough after 45, give Doc & Neves a rest, and bring on Traore & ???
Most important that everyone comes back fit and well and not too exhausted!

Remember folks this is an EARLY KICK OFF AT 17.55.
That's five to 6 for the hard of hearing.
And in other news.
Today Ståle Solbakken (on his 52th birthday) will set a new Europa League record when his FCK side steps on the Celtic Park pitch - as he'll surpass Unai Emery to become the manager with the most matches in the competition
39 - Emery 39 - Solbakken

Well I was pretty close! Not sure why I forgot the Donk!
Where is Neves? Unusual for Nuno to give someone complete rest - unless he has a niggle!

Pity we can't turn out in Gold shirts - not as though we turn out to play in Barcelona etc every year - would be nice for both sets of fans IMHO.

Didn't know they no longer had that stadium with the running track that was always half empty.
Hope Jordao and Campana get a run out, although this has all the makings of a snooze fest so I might no longer be watching by then.

There may not be many in the crowd, but I reckon there are quite a few separatist sharpshooters amongst them - watch out for players collapsing without the sound of a rifle shot, reckon they are using silenced weapons - poor aim though as they seem to be hitting their own players.

Is Gibbs White just shite, or has he forgotten how to pass to team mate. His pass completion rate must be half of fck all.

Entertaining match. With those line-ups and the 4-0 first leg it was a game neither club wanted to play.
Podense made a reasonable impression. None of the other fringe players offered anything.
You do wonder just how off the pace Campana must be if he doesn't even get game time in this situation.

A really poor performance all round, so sloppy and half hearted, nobody really came out of that well, except Podence and Coady, the rest were off the pace and concentration. That is probably the worst game we have played ( despite the changes made) since we lost 1-4 away at Villa in the Championship. Yes, we are through but tonight left a bad taste in the mouth. Next game we will have the A team out so we will be stronger and hopefully more concentrated and focused and we will need to be as there are no duffers left in the competition now. I ask myself if we have set such high standards that when a bad day happens, I make more out of it all than I should. I realise that in this month six years ago, we lost 2-1 away at Crawley, so one sees clearly just how far we have come since then. Maybe I should chill out and thank my lucky stars...but...Wolves, aye we..???

Disappointing that we looked so off the pace.
If MGW is truly free from injury, he surely has few more chances to shine? I suspect Nuno will look to offload unless he does something remarkable in the remainder of the year ... but will he even get the chance (assuming we don't get a run of injuries). Not sure what he offers, apart from a bit of showboating and a few tricks at half time when he warms up? Just does not seemed to have learned a thing from Neves & Moutinho.
