Not long back they were filming Peaky Blinders at the Black Country Museum, during the evenings and night they stayed at the Village Hotel Walsall.
My Daughter bumped into Tom Hardy at the restaurant, small world.

This series has just come to my attention (from my Russian Wife of all people). I shall go a hunting to track it down and have a peak.

First two seasons a good watch, then the scripts became less plausible and lightweight.

Better than Peaky Blinders you have the magnificently brilliant Narcos which once again had two absolute quality series.

Narcos season three was good but the standards were slipping while season four set in Mexico has had problems sorting its locations.

Well, I viewed all three seasons, but to be honest, although I looked forward to the next episode, it is a poor man's Sopranos with Basin Cuts. However, I was expecting and hoping for a period drama and a better insight into Brum after the First World War and what did I get, Communists, IRA, Jews, Italians and Gypsies, (so no change there then).

Doesn't every family have an Alfred somewhere? I thought that the actor who played the Jewish Cockney was a peach and I'm guessing he is the same actor who played both Kray Twins in another film I recently viewed and forgot the title of.

Tom Hardy and it was "Legend".

I enjoyed him in "Taboo" as well. It got a bit of a panning from the critics.

I don't get to watch many Series, never watched 24, Lost, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk, Game Of Thrones, and so on, missed loads, but love Peaky Blinders, and I recommend Snowfall, currently on BBC 2 on Sunday nights, excellent stuff.

I have Prime and Netflix now and have been slowly catching up on Breaking Bad, will also do the same for Peaky Blinders. The benefits of retirement time.

The new series seems to have started with good reviews, I thought the script could have been tighter.

He was fantastic in the Irish production Love Hate. Well worth watching if you missed it. Full of cast members now seen all over the world.

Tom Hardy is brilliant in the latest episode. Don`t like the Italian guy, doing a poor Brando impression ( can`t remember his name but he was excellent in The Pianist) I`m enjoying where this is going, a load of cobblers I know but a good bit of escapism.

The Italian Guy is playing far too modern a sort of chatline.....it does not work for a 1920's type of era.....

The last of series 4, Tommy meets Alfie, at Margate, to make Solomons pay for his betrayal.
‘You going to look after this dog then?’ Alfie greeted him, on the beach, knowing what was what coming.
‘No?
'Well his name is Cyril and he will be very upset and distressed so you’ll need to find him someone.’

Super writing and acting..Is Alfie really dead?
Tommy never checked.. Series 5 is back in 2019

He said he was riddled with cancer, and I imagine Tom Hardy has plenty of work lined up. I liked the way they stitched up Luca Changretta.

Charlie Murphy is a damn fine actress. I think she will be a major star in years to come.
