You BARSTEWARDS mentioning the next leaked episode was available so what do I do, watch it and now I feel that I have cheated; it is like knowing the result of today's match against Cardiff. WTF am I going to do now on Monday evening as I have had my weekly fix too early.

Good episode all the same and it is interesting that when one reads back through this thread, some of you already knew or guessed what might happen. Well done.

That's why I didn't enjoy the episode. Too predictable :-( I've grown used to the producers shocking the viewers with unexpected twists and clever story-arcs. I just feel like all so many events could've been predicted quite easily.

I didn't really have a problem with the battle itself. It was enjoyable. But the background of the. Style - capturing a wight - which isn't well thought out - and showing it to Cersei - who will not care - makes no sense.

It's like they wanted to have a cool battle north of the wall but didn't know how to get them there. And came up with any excuse they could find. Why not have them searching for any remaining children of the forest? Would have been far more believable.

Albeit, I'm assuming that Jon Snow will have the final battle with the leader of the White Walkers to eliminate them all, but I haven't a clue how the other parties will fare or who will eventually sit on the iron throne. Maybe they'll bring a ''Call Me Dave'' Cameron character in and they'll have a referendum.

How many episodes left?

One more in this series, then the final season will also have 7 episodes.

Final episode made up for some of the shenanigans of the previous two.

Just hope Bronn escaped from King's Landing. I think we'll see him reunite with Jaime on the road.

And I'm assuming that Tormund and Beric are alive. I don't think they'd kill both offscreen.

Can't believe we have to wait a year and a half (most likely) for the next season. Been listening to lots of GoT podcasts to pass the time. Any thoughts on whether the following characters live or die?I put my predictions there. Anybody I'm forgetting?

Jon - dies
Dany - lives
Arya - lives
Bran - lives
Sansa - lives
Cersei - dies
Jaime - dies
Tyrion - lives
Jorah - dies
Tormund - dies
Beric - dies
Gendry - dies
Bronn - lives
Mountain - dies
Hound - dies
Qyburn - dies
Theon - dies
Yara - lives
Elleria - dies
Varys - dies
Sam - lives
Gilly - lives
Ghost - dies
Drogon - lives
Rhaegal - lives
Nymeria - lives
Night King - dies
Ice Viserion - dies

That list of potential deaths is very upsetting  Brianne & Tormond need to make their monster babies! I think Bran will die, I like the theory that he's linked to the Night King and he may have to die to finally defeat the white walkers.

I think we're going to get alot of deaths in season 8 because in season 7, we were mostly spared. The Tarlys got burnt, Tyene was poisoned. Thoros died of a cold. I think that's all the major deaths? We were teased with a few near deaths: Tormund, Jon, Jaime, Bronn, Tyrion...but alot of living happened last season.

HBO have announced that Season 8 will air in the "first half of 2019". So there's that.

You've given the game away and ruined it for so many.
