Any of you been watching??
I'm hooked already and John Voight is superb in it.Worth watching just for him.
It is a Sopranos type rip off but it is still very good.

Just finished watching him escort the boyfriend from his new birthday party. Excellent stuff as long as a certain amount of reality is suspended.

The Wire is truly epic mate. Shoddy last episode for Donovan, but overall enjoyable pap. The Wire on the other hand, builds to a fitting climax.

Well, managed to watch the 12 episodes of the complete first series over a day and a half and overall, enjoyed it very much although, I thought it got a little too 24 ish towards the end.

As with Breaking Bad, I really wanted to do something bad to the main character's Wives. Why can't women just let men have their secrets as long as they providing for the family. Incoming.

Just completed Season 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it, a new development around every corner.

No idea when the next season is due to air?

Not living in UK for the time being has it's advantages

First episode is called The Kalamazoo, named after Mickey's BBQ.

I've seen it advertised for this summer season on HBO, but didn't know when it was due to commence.

Was you first episode a pre-release leaker or the main real thing on HBO? I ain't switched the TV on for over 10 days for anything more than watching some of my Borgias downloads from Laptop onto the big screen. It is the summer season and we mainly live outside the house except for sleeping.

Also saw trailers for True Detectives too and cannot now recall which actors will be the main two cops, but familiar faces if I recall. :?:

I'm up to episode three in True Detectives. A certain Irish lad with thick eyebrows get's a large tummy ache at the end of episode two. No spoilers, but they seem to be trying too hard. Ray is still HBO, and on State Side.

I was flicking through the channels looking for some late night viewing last night and came across a series called Odyssey

It was very good.

Watched 2 episodes of true detective season 2 and it is watchable but as you say maybe trying too hard.Trouble is the last one was that good it will be hard to compete but it's not bad.

Ray starts officially in the States on Monday. It seems I was sent a pre-release of the first episode. Should be widely available next week.
