Check it out, it is full on blokemanship in a war environment. BP takes on a role with more gravitas than Inglorious Basterds had, but without the daftness.
Fantastic stuff with nasty and emotional issues to deal with in equal measures, if yam a supervisor there's some great quotes if yam ever in a theatre of combat an that of course

All good until the silly ending. Damn I was enjoying it until the last five minutes.

However, as your uncle Rozza says, good value, family entertainment........

I viewed this film in flight to Thailand and despite the numerous interruptions for announcements and fasten seat belt stuff, thought it a decent film albeit, I'd like to watch it again in the comfort of my living room.

I thought the ending to be typical of most war films in as much that the hero cops it.

I hadn't realised though just how crap the American tanks were in comparison to the German Tiger tank. I'm glad that I never wanted to join the Tank regiment then or now.

Saw an interview with Eartha Kit where he was droning on about how original the film was because it was set inside a tank and had never been done before - that would be ignoring the Israeli film 'Lebanon' then Brad ?
